Sven Lynch

Sven Lynch, PT, DPT, NCS, CBIS is one of only about 100 Board-Certified Neurologic Physical Therapists in the state of Pennsylvania. He is certified as a Neurologic Certified Specialist (NCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). He is also a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) as determined by the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists (ACBIS). He has trained or worked at The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh, UPMC, and Healthsouth. Dr. Lynch is experienced in treating individuals across the lifespan and across settings including outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, and acute care. He was at the top of his class and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree at the University of Pittsburgh, the #3 ranked physical therapy program in the nation according to U.S. News and World Report. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Purdue University in 1999. His philosophy of care is centered around functional movement and evidence-based practice. Sven is also a veteran of the United States Navy. His first day at sea as a Naval Flight Officer was September 11th, 2001. He loves to run, to participate in road and obstacle course races, and has a lifelong love of learning.
