Adam Rohan

Job Titles:

Adam joined KAM in 2022 to help lead the Bristol office. He has more than 10 years' experience in private sector development, with a particular focus on residential and commercial office projects. Adam's main area of practice has been in two-stage design and build contracting. He has worked on a range of mixed-use schemes and masterplans, including medium and high-rise tower construction. Adam originally trained as a building surveyor, before going on to work as a quantity surveyor for main contractor Walter Lilly, delivering super prime homes in Central London. This provided him with the opportunity to gain hands-on construction experience. He then joined the specialist residential team at cost consultancy Core Five, where he completed a commercial management degree and qualified as a chartered quantity surveyor in 2017. Since relocating to Bristol in 2021, Adam has taken on the role of Vice Chair of the Southwest branch of the Forum for Tomorrow. He is also an active member of the British Council for Offices. Adam is a qualified RICS APC Assessor and enjoys supporting the next generation of cost managers.

Amy is one of our senior associates and has been with KAM since the formation of the business in 2013. With more than 15 years' experience in the construction industry Amy is highly experienced in industrial, commercial and education sectors and has actively been involved in the delivery of more than 5m sq ft of distribution space, elements of which included the integration of complex automation systems. Amy is responsible for providing project management, contract administration and employer's agent roles for our clients. She is skilled at stakeholder management and developing clearly defined work streams and actions for project teams. Valuing the importance of strong communication Amy regularly convenes and chairs, project team and site progress meetings.

Craig Short

Craig is the lead Director of our Bristol office and heads up the South West region for KAM. He brings almost 20 years of cost management and employers agent experience in the Bristol property market, servicing a wide range of private sector Clients predominantly in the commercial, residential, mixed-use and industrial sectors. Craig previously worked as Director at Currie & Brown before joining KAM in June 2022. He was an active representative of Currie & Brown's national commercial & industrial sector working group. Craig has managed the procurement and contract negotiations on some of the most high-profile major commercial office developments in Bristol city centre including EQ, Assembly and Halo. Craig recognises the importance of building strong relationships with all project team members and working collaboratively to achieve successful project outcomes. He takes personal responsibility for his projects, leading a dedicated team and acting as the main point of contact for the Client on all matters.

Darren Vaughan

Darren is one of our directors and the operations lead for the team in the UK. Darren has been with KAM since 2014 and has extensive market experience ranging from manufacturing through to distribution and infrastructure. He is a key member of our industrial team and has played a pivotal role in some of the most significant projects delivered in the UK, including distribution centres for B&Q and Sainsbury's. His key responsibilities include feasibility studies, value engineering, benchmarking, key cost drivers, commercial management & procurement, and supply chain knowledge. Darren is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building and has been involved in key areas of the business such as cost management, contract administration and employers agent. He is passionate about the industrial sector and delivering successful projects to clients.

David is the lead director for our Cambridge office and the managing director of KAM GmbH. David has a broad range of experience having working in the industry for over 20 years. David integrates well within project teams and provides a structured and committed approach. He is a strong believer of long-term relationships with clients, so works effortlessly to ensure the project delivery meets and exceeds our clients' expectations. Iain has successfully led many projects specialising in logistics and research laboratories. Lucy joined our team of directors in 2023 after being with the business since 2015 and leads the team in our Leicester office. Mat joined KAM in 2017 as a senior cost manager before being promoted to an associate in 2019 and senior associate in 2021. Mat leads the KAM team in our Nottingham office. Mat has led many projects, undertaking both employer's agent and cost management roles. He believes long term relationships with clients and team members are extremely important, so works to ensure the project delivery not only meets but exceeds client expectations. With over thirteen years' experience in the industrial, infrastructure and power sectors, Mat has worked for developers, occupiers, and contractors. Scott is our managing director and is responsible for the operation of all facets of the business. He has been with KAM since its inception in 2013 and has been an integral part in the successful growth of KAM. Scott is a project manager with more than 25 years' experience in the construction industry, the last 17 years of which have been solely in the industrial sector. During this time, he has managed a huge variety of industrial and distribution developments. These projects have ranged from developer led base builds, to the full spectrum of customer fit-outs. A significant strength of Scott's is the successful delivery of large complex automated fit-outs and the integration of these systems into the building, including projects undertaken while the building remained fully operational. Throughout his career he has developed long standing relationships with his clients, managing extensive teams on challenging projects.
