Ali is also familiar with the technology industry. During her career, Ali has held PA/Secretarial roles supporting Directors and Managers within large and small companies including European Electrical Distributors and Vending specialists. Additionally, she has worked in the Banking Industry and held a security role in Tesco Plc.

Amelia Durman

Carol Butterworth

Carol manages Napier's finance function. Carol has over 20 years of finance experience in a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, distribution and FMCG. During this time Carol has used various accounting, MRP, ERP and CRM software systems and worked on implementation projects for accounting & ERP systems. Whilst working in the manufacturing sector, Carol has worked on several Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement projects.

Chris Corfield

Chris joined Napier following a successful marcomms career in-house at Control Techniques, the British-based global drives brand. There, he had a senior role in the team which executed a comprehensive corporate rebranding project, and led a team that oversaw PR, video production, exhibitions, customer experience and content creation across multiple regions. As a qualified and experienced journalist, marketer, PR practitioner and copywriter, he understands how to get to the centre of a story and loves nothing more than taking complex, technical subjects and framing them for a wider audience. Chris brings energy, positivity and considerable experience of marketing within the drives and industrial automation market. He also isn't above the occasional dad joke.

Claire Shore

She ensures we deliver high-quality, efficient service levels by maintaining procedures within the company handbook. Prior to joining Napier, Clare spent over 20 years working for both public and private sector organisations. Her experience includes providing support to senior executives and sales administration in technology companies.

Clive joined Napier in 2019 from the San Francisco Bay area as a 20+ year silicon valley veteran. He has specialised in building comprehensive integrated marketing and communications programmes, brand strategies and lead generation campaigns for leading technology companies in hardware, enterprise software, and semiconductor markets. Most recently he was Director of Public Relations, Events and Partner Marketing at Digital Realty, responsible for building marketing and communications programmes for the company's portfolio of data centre properties, cloud solutions and services. Prior to joining Digital Realty, Clive worked at Seagate as their Director of Global Corporate Communications responsible for PR/AR, executive communications and social media. David Cunningham

David arrived at Napier following more than 20 years as a writer and PR consultant for broadcast television engineering, design, and manufacturing firms - as well as fibre, satellite, and IP connectivity providers - worldwide. He moved to the UK in the early 90s from Houston, Texas, where he had a career in corporate communications with a major international energy exploration, production, and engineering firm. Although not an engineer by training, David has a knack for translating sometimes complex information into palatable prose. He also has a nose for news, a direct result of the Bachelor of Science degree in journalism he proudly holds from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, Ohio University. Outside of the office, David is an accomplished live music photographer with three album credits (and counting) to his name.

Establishing good relationships in these industries, Elaine successfully coordinates product launches, places technical articles and arranges press interviews and briefings both in person and virtually, and provides exemplary service from setting the direction of the program to arranging international press events.

Hayden Reader

Helen Greenhead

Helen has been with Armitage (now Napier) for 25 years. She started out her career in marketing, building and managing databases, in accordance with the Audit Bureau of Circulations, on behalf of clients. Over the years and with the introduction of the internet, it became clear that better use of data in the digital world was on the horizon. Helen's love of data led her to gain knowledge of several marketing automation platforms including Eloqua, Pardot and SharpSpring, achieving a B2B masters in Eloqua back in 2015. Helen is part of our digital team looking after the day to day running and building of several of our clients' social media accounts, Google ads and analytics and maintenance of websites.

Ian Jarrett

He believes that combining the measurement, accountability and innovation that he learnt as an engineer with a passion for communicating ensures Napier delivers great campaigns and tangible return on investment. Mike began his career as an electronics design engineer, working for companies ranging from GEC-Marconi to DDA, developing products from complex radar systems to Kim Wilde's mixing desk. Mike later joined IDT Inc, an American semiconductor company, making his move into marketing when he switched from European Applications Manager to European Marketing Manager. In 2001 Mike acquired Napier with Suzy Kenyon. Since that time he has directed major PR and marketing programmes for a wide range of technology clients. He is actively involved in developing the PR and marketing industries, and is Chair of the PRCA B2B Group, and lectures in PR at Southampton Solent University. Mike offers a unique blend of technical and marketing expertise, and was awarded a Masters Degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Surrey and an MBA from Kingston University. As of October 2023, Mike was appointed Deputy Chairman of Eurocom Worldwide, a leading global network of independent, privately owned PR and marketing communications agencies.

She manages Napier's comprehensive online media monitoring system, as well as coverage in print titles across Europe, covering publications in almost 30 European countries.

Rob Furby

He has experience in a wide range of industries from consumer to engineering and specialises in helping clients maintain their corporate brand values when executing fresh and innovative campaigns that demand attention. Prior to joining Napier in 2006, Rob held creative roles within the print and signage industries developing his ability to take ideas from concepts to reality, whilst gaining experience of managing larger creative campaigns and bespoke projects. Rob has been working with leading edge graphical design software for over 13 years and is an expert user of tools for print and online design.

Tom is an experienced designer having worked for Armitage (now Napier) for over 20 years. After gaining his diploma in graphic design, he worked for various design agencies and print companies before setting up his own business and then joining our firm full-time. He has worked on a variety of projects for clients producing content from brochures to advertising, exhibition graphics and newsletters. His understanding of digital design means he has also developed several e-books, web banners and interactive infographics for our clients. As Design Manager, Tom supervises our in-house design team, and his experience and understanding of what is needed means he has the ability to take a brief and turn that into something creative and visually exciting, be it through print or online, whilst remaining on budget and on time.
