Dr Ang is a Consultant Physician & Cardiologist practising at Mahkota Medical Centre. His areas of expertise include all kinds of Cardiology diagnosis and management such as Interventional Cardiology, Coronary Angiogram, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention for Balloon Angioplasty, Stent Implantation, Intravascular Ultrasound, Flow Fraction Reserve, Optical Coherence Tomography, Rotational Atherectomy, and Right Heart Catheterisation.

Dr Chan Chee Ken is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon in Mahkota Medical Centre, Melaka, sub-specialising in hip and knee surgery. He is renowned for achieving a very low complication rate post-surgery.
Dr Chan obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from University Malaya in 2004 and completed his Masters in Orthopaedic Surgery (MS Orth) in 2012. A strong believer in continuous learning, he pursued his Fellowship in Arthroplasty at University Malaya, Malaysia in 2015 and Chonnam National University Hospital, South Korea in 2016. That same year, Dr Chan was awarded a travelling Fellowship in Arthroplasty at Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane and Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide Australia by Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association (APOA). Two years later, he went for a Travelling Trauma Fellowship in Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore India. During those fellowship programmes, Dr Chan perfected his knowledge and skill in the treatment of joint replacements and trauma surgeries, particularly peri-prosthetic joint infection and fractures, recurrent dislocation, complex fractures and sports injuries.
Prior to joining Mahkota Medical Centre, Dr Chan served as Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, University Malaya. A highly-rated lecturer, he was awarded the Best Lecturer in 2013/2014 and 2015/2016. In order to continue learning and sharing knowledge, he continues to speak at local and international conferences. Not only is he active in clinical research and publication, but he is also a reviewer for the Malaysia Orthopaedic Journal as well as Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery (APOA).
Dr Chan served as Council Member of Malaysian Orthopaedic Association (MOA) from 2014 to 2016. In 2019, he was elected as the Secretary General of Malaysian Society for Hip and Knee Surgeons (MSHKS).

Dr Chan Ka Ming is a consultant at Regency Specialist Hospital. He received his undergraduate medical degree from Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan in year 1998. Then, he continued to pursue his interest in Respiratory Medicine and Internal Medicine. His specialist certificates in Internal Medicine and Respiratory Medicine were awarded in 2001 and 2004 respectively.
He had worked in Pingtung Christian Hospital, Taiwan for more than 10 years before returning home to Malaysia. In Malaysia, Dr Chan is a registered specialist in Internal Medicine with MMC FR No: 70361 & NSR No: 131769. He has undergone clinical attachment in Respiratory Medicine at Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Bahru before joining Regency Specialist Hospital.

Dr Cheah Way Mun is an Independent Non-Executive Director of HMI Group. He is also a member of the Remuneration Committee and Nominating Committee of HMI Group.
Dr Cheah is an accomplished ophthalmic surgeon in private practice. He was previously the head of the eye department of Tan Tock Seng Hospital and a visiting consultant of the National University Hospital and the Singapore National Eye Centre.
Dr Cheah holds an MBBS from the then University of Singapore and is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Glasgow and Edinburgh) and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr Gan See Khem is the Executive Chairman and Managing Director of Health Management International Ltd ("HMI Group"). She has been instrumental in spearheading the Group's healthcare and education businesses since 1999.
Dr Gan is an active figure in public services and currently serves on the Malaysia-Singapore Business Council. She served as the first woman President of the Singapore Gan Clan Association and is distinguished as one of the first two women to become a council member at the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1995. Dr Gan is a former Nominated Member of Parliament of the Republic of Singapore. Dr Gan's many achievements were also recently highlighted in the Women Entrepreneur Awards 2018, where she was recognized as the SuperNova Women Entrepreneur of Year 2018.
She was also previously on the Board of Trustees of the Institute of South East Asian Studies and Singapore Management University ("SMU"), and was a member of the International Advisory Board of Curtin Business School. In 2015, Dr Gan received the SG50 Outstanding Chinese Business Pioneers Award from the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Dr Gan specialised in strategic planning and management during her 15-year tenure at the National University of Singapore.
She holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom.

Dr Lau Kai Poh is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Traumatology Surgeon of Regency Specialist Hospital since its inception on 15th November, 2008.
He graduated from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal in 1993 and completed his housemanship in Hospital Sultanah Aminah. He obtained his Post Graduate Diploma of Medicine in Sports Medicine from Edith Cowan University, Australia in 1999.
He further his study in Master of Surgery (Orthopaedic) at National University of Malaysia (UKM) and graduated in 2002. He is also a Certified Independent Medical Assessor (CIMA) which he obtained in 2005.
In 15 years of service with the government, He had served in the various hospitals which include Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Hospital University Kebangsaan Malaysia, Hospital Batu Pahat and Hospital Sultanah Aminah. He also had an attachment in Kantonsspital Aarau, Switzerland in 2004. Over there he actively took part in operation theatre, ward rounds and daily meetings especially cases involved in joint replacement.
He has special interest in joint replacement apart from well versed in trauma and diabetic foot care. He also enjoys teaching and was part-time lecturer of ilMU (Batu Pahat) and Monash University (Johor Bahru). He also active organizing CME and frequently giving talks to medical students and other health care professionals.

Dr Lu Hou Tee is a Cardiologist who performs Left & Right Heart Cardiac Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) that involves Balloon Angioplasty and Stent Implantation. He also performs Complex High-risk Indicated PCI (CHIP) and other cases involving advanced techniques such as Calcified Lesion and Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO). Dr Lu's special interests include treating Calcified Lesion using Atherectomy Devices (Rotational and Orbital Atherectomy), Indicated CTO using contemporary techniques such as Antegrade and Retrograde Dissection Re-entry.

Dr Shum is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Mahkota Medical Centre, Melaka with more than 24 years of experience in treating cancer patients. He is trained and practised in Tri-Service General Hospital & Jen-Ai Hospital, Taiwan for more than 15 years. He has published various papers and obtained his Master Degree in Medical Science in 2010. He is appointed as the Chief of the Oncology Department, Jen-Ai Hospital before he came back to Malaysia in 2012.
Dr Yaw Chong Hwa is a Consultant Physician and Nephrologist in practice since 2013. His primary passion lies in the management of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and other related complications, while his areas of special interest include Comprehensive Care in Diabetes Mellitus, Renal Replacement Therapy/Dialysis and Acute Febrile Illness. His non-clinical work involves speaking at various conferences in regards to the management of CKD and Diabetes Mellitus.
Dr. Ong Guan Yeow is a knowledgeable and skillful Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist with more than 18 years of experience in managing various gastrointestinal diseases. His main scope of work include Gastroesophageal Reflux Diseases (acid reflux), Peptic Ulcer Diseases (oesophageal ulcer, gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer), Gastritis, Helicobacter Pylori Infection, Pancreatitis, Cholecystitis, Irritable Bowel Disease (IBS), Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Hepatitis, Fatty Liver Disease, Liver Cirrhosis and Liver Tumor.
He is skillful in managing various gastrointestinal problems via various endoscopy techniques. These include stopping gastrointestinal tract bleeding, removing foreign bodies from gastrointestinal tract, removing growth from gastrointestinal tract, banding of oesophageal varices, banding of hemorrhoid and placement of intragastric balloon. Apart from the gastrointestinal endoscopes, he is also an expert in performing gastrointestinal ultrasound.
Dr. Ong has an immense interest in digestive diseases and has published a number of professional articles in various medical journals including the high ranking journals such as Journal of Hepatology and European Journal of Gastroenterology & Hepatology.

Mr Chin Wei Yao was appointed as an Executive Director of HMI Group in October 2015, and as Chief Investment Officer with effect from February 2019. As Chief Investment Officer, Mr Chin is responsible for driving the development of the Group's healthcare services business in the region through partnerships and strategic investments. Since joining the Group in 2015, Mr Chin has led various corporate initiatives such as the consolidation of non-controlling interests at Mahkota Medical Centre and Regency Specialist Hospital, acquisition of a controlling stake in StarMed Specialist Centre, and the investment in Plus Medical Holdings, a chain of primary care clinics in Singapore. Mr Chin is also an Executive Director of Mahkota.
Mr Chin started out his career as an investment banker at Credit Suisse in 2007. Prior to joining HMI Group, Mr Chin worked for 8 years in private equity and investment banking in South East Asia. His last position was Associate Director at KV Asia Capital where he was responsible for investment execution and portfolio management. He was previously a Vice President at Sindicatum Sustainable Resources Group where he oversaw a portfolio of clean energy investments.
Mr Chin holds a Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude) in Economics (Honours) from New York University, USA. He is also an affiliate member of the Association Chartered Certified Accountants ("ACCA").

Ms Chin Wei Jia was appointed as an Executive Director of HMI Group in October 2014 and as Group Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") of HMI Group in September 2015. As Group CEO, she oversees and leads the strategic and operational activities of the Group. She is also the Managing Director of Mahkota Medical Centre ("Mahkota") and Regency Specialist Hospital ("Regency").
Ms Chin first joined HMI Group in 2002 and has played a key role in the development of HMI Group into a SGX mainboard listed healthcare company. She had contributed to the start of HMI Group's education business via the launch of HMI Institute. Ms Chin was also a member of the core team that first commissioned Regency in 2008, and previously served as CEO of Regency from 2013 to 2016. Ms Chin recently spearheaded the Group's entry into the Singapore private healthcare sector with the establishment of StarMed Specialist Centre, Singapore's latest one-stop ambulatory care centre.
She is a board member of Enterprise Singapore and member of the Malaysia-Business Council.
Ms Chin holds a Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude) in Economics and International Relations from Boston University, USA. She also has a Masters of Arts in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University, USA.
