The Leicester String Quartet plays a wide range of musical styles; from Classical & Romantic favourites, to Latin American Tangos, Pop, Jazz and requested arrangements. We are a professional, experienced and well presented group of musicians who are committed to providing high quality music at weddings, events and many other important occasions. Our usual attire is formal black, but we can wear brighter colours if you prefer, and whether indoors or outdoors, all the string quartet needs is four chairs and protection from the weather... In addition to being classically trained musicians, we perform many kinds of music through our quartet, including jazz, tango, popular and folk. We also perform traditional baroque, classical and romantic pieces.
