Mercer Livestock Auction, Inc. was built and established by John Kingerski in 1960 after the closing of the Pittsburgh Livestock yards in Pittsburgh, PA. The new site established in Mercer, PA was chosen due to its central location which also happened to be at the juncture of interstate highways 80 and 79... The first Tuesday of each month is a special feeder cattle auction beginning at 11:00 specializing in Feeder Cattle and Finished Market Cattle followed by the regular cattle auction. We also run special dairy auctions, registered quality horse auctions, large machinery consignment auctions, buffalo auctions, and special events.
