ROTARY MADARAKA

Our goal is to strengthen the capacity of communities to support basic education and literacy, reduce gender disparity in education, and increase adult literacy... The Rotary Club of Nairobi Madaraka was officially established on June 1, 2012, coinciding with Kenya's Madaraka Day. The term "Madaraka" symbolizes self-rule and the initiative to take control of our own destiny. Our club comprises 45 members, primarily ex-Rotaractors, with an average age of 38. This youthful demographic sets us apart as one of Africa's youngest Rotary clubs. We are a dynamic, passionate group dedicated to revitalizing the spirit of Rotary... We help bring sustainable clean water, sanitation, and hygiene to more people every day. We don't just build wells and walk away.
