Founded by Lena Beker after the death of her grandmother, Roze Room Hospice has distinguished itself as a premier hospice provider in the communities we serve for over 25 years... When my grandmother died in an impersonal hospital room, after a long illness, I vowed to help the terminally ill die in the comfort and security of familiar surroundings. In honor of my grandmother, Roza, whose favorite flower was the rose with which she often filled her rooms, I founded our first hospice program in 1997 and named it Roze Room Hospice to signify the combination of grandmother Roza and her favorite flower, the rose. Roze Room Hospice was a culmination of my dream, creating a hospice that is about living one's life to the fullest, even though days are limited.
