TREZISE FAMILY COTTAGE

This charming130 year old granite building is owned by a member of the Trezise family who have a long tradition of tin mining in the area dating back to the 1700s... Our family are originally from St Just a cornish mining town near Land's End. This is where you will find many relics of an industry that made St Just one of the richest towns in Cornwall in the 1800s... My Great great grandfather William Henry Trezise was a mine captain at Levant tin mine for many years and a highly regarded member of the community in the Pendeen area.
