Bradford R. Busath

Brad is a skilled architect and project manager specializing in medical and research facility programming and design, with 21 years' experience in the field. His medical facility portfolio includes highly complex and technical projects with a focus on creating healing clinical environments that are highly functional, efficient and flexible. Brad served as the project manager, along with Jon Erdmann, on the University of Utah Hospital West Pavilion Expansion in which this project will be located. His most recent projects are the Brigham Young University Life Sciences Building and the Myriad Genetics (Myrexis) Phase V Building in Research Park.

Brian Cassil - CCO

Through various modes of communication, it is Brian's duty and pleasure to engage with audiences and share the stories of some amazing architectural projects and practices.

David Abraham

With an appreciation for the richness created in mixed use environments, David Abraham takes pleasure in the design of retail, restaurant, office, residential, and inviting plaza spaces and is well versed in the multiple construction types and delivery methods associated with those various types of projects. Adept with master planning, Dave is able to conceptualize various options to confirm alignment with client goals and to explore opportunities for additional value very early in the design process. As an early proponent of Building Information Modelling (BIM) he has utilized computer modelling in activities ranging from conceptual massing to rigorous clash detection in complex environments. Recently, his work has been focused on urban infill and transit oriented development.

Holli Adams

Great Civic architecture demands collaboration, vision and dedication. Holli has been championing the creation of successful public facilities for 29 years. From Recreation Centers to Libraries and Senior Centers, Holli employs her expertise to develop projects that have a positive impact on people. Combining excellent project programming and planning skills, technical knowledge and the most up to date understanding of sustainable design, Holli crafts projects that are embraced by the communities they serve.

Jeffrey Gardner

Jeff Gardner was responsible for Utah's OSHA Headquarters, the first LEED Silver certified project in Utah, and has been a leader in sustainable design at Architectural Nexus since the firm's inception. A strategic thinker, Jeff has shown outstanding ability to deal with complex challenges both small and large that are encountered in keeping the project on schedule and within the budget. He is equally skilled at programming/pre-desing, providing quantitative and qualitative description of all functions and space needs, and at construction administration, effectively working with the contractor to resolve all construction issues.

Jeffrey Tuft

Jeff has a love for design and how it promotes happiness and wellness. His greatest joy in the profession comes from the personal connections required to create great projects. Collaboration with colleagues, contractors, consultants, and clients all linked with a common goal is the real reward. Great projects don't come from a singular source. While walking the halls of a new project is extremely rewarding, so are the interactions that happen leading up to those meaningful moments. Jeff is also an advocate within the design community with multiple years of service in AIA Utah including a term as president of AIA Northern Utah in 2017.

Jessica Peterson

Healthcare planning and design is full of complexities and problem solving, which Jessica finds satisfying to work through, however the people are the reason why she choses healthcare as a focus for her career. There are many emotions when entering a healthcare facility and often stress is heightened. Through design, she can ease the stress of patients, and create spaces that function well for care providers. Jessica has earned the trust of clients by providing building designs and spaces that support the mission of each facility to provide life enhancing and life saving care for patients. No matter the scale, a project is always rewarding when it ultimately helps improve the patient and staff experience. Some of the projects that Jessica is grateful to have been a part of include the Huntsman Cancer Institute Kathryn F. Kirk Building, University of Utah Orthopaedic Center OR & PACU remodel, St. Luke's Boise DCIP project, and the Idaho Falls Community Hospital.

Kelly Schreihofer

Finding value in every complex space inspires her as a medical planner and propels her to mentor this in others.

Mihnea Dobre

Mihnea pursues his passion for functional, beautiful, sustainable and innovative designs on commercial mixed-use, multi-family, retail, and institutional projects of different sizes. From planning through construction, Mihnea strongly believes architecture should focus on people and their experience. He enjoys the design process as much as the end result, and focuses on a great client and team experience. Mihnea successfully navigates intricate entitlement and city approval processes, and is used to managing large and diverse teams to resolve complex projects, sites, and programs. Earlier in his career, Mihnea practiced as a Campus Architect. Overseeing a wide range of transformative projects across multiple campuses helped him develop a unique owner's perspective towards achieving the best design with the most efficient use of resources over the life of the project. Personally, he is most excited and inspired by travelling to new places and enjoying new experiences - people, music, food, nature, and a good view always get his attention.

Peter D. Moyes

Peter Moyes has multiple areas of expertise, including large urban commercial projects and municipal projects in Salt Lake City and the Intermountain West. His passion is to work with abstract concepts, such as words and mathematics, and from them to create three-dimentional solutions, to complex problems. Robb T. Harrop - President

Scott Larkin's 2008 article "Re-Inventing Hospitals for Patients" in Hospitals & Health Networks Magazine, is an apt summary of his leadership in promoting better medical treatment through well-designed architecture. Having served 10 years in the Navy Nurse Corps, Scott has the rare ability to simultaneously see medical planning through the eyes of both the caregiver and the designer. He is a passionate champion of patients, their families, and their care givers, as he designs to better the healing process. His passion extends to his role as a mentor to other planners in the firm, and to the profession at large through his multiple publications.

Sean Bennett
