Eden is a Diamond Creek girl who knows and loves the Eltham area. Eden desired to become a vet from a very young age and spent much of her childhood caring for wildlife, including housing bees overnight in homemade enclosures and feeding them sugar syrup until they were recuperated! It was her strong compassion that drove her desire to become a veterinarian.
After 6 years of study, Eden graduated from the University of Melbourne with First Class Honours in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She has been lucky enough to spend the last 3 months travelling abroad through Central and South America with her partner before joining our team.
While travelling has been an unforgettable adventure, there is no place like home. In her spare time Eden loves going camping along the coast, having brunch with friends and spending time with family! She's looking forward to meeting new clients and their furry companions in the local community and hopes to have a long and fulfilling career in veterinary medicine.

Laura enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially internal medicine and surgery
Laura joined our vet team mid - 2022 and has enjoyed getting to know the local area and the community. Originally from Ireland, Laura graduated in 2016 from University of Veterinary Medicine in Budapest, Hungary. After graduating Laura worked in Yorkshire, England in a small animal clinic and although it wasn't quite ‘James Herriot' style she really enjoyed her time there.
After 3 years, Laura and her husband took a short career break to travel throughout Asia and SE Asia before arriving in Melbourne at the start of 2020. Covid helped her get comfortably ‘stuck' in Australia and after working in a variety of emergency and general practice clinics in Melbourne feels she has found a good fit with the team at Eltham Vet.
Laura enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially internal medicine and surgery, but particularly enjoys building a bond with her clients and patients alike.
In her spare time Laura enjoys exploring the outdoors, time with her family and travel to new places.

Remy grew up here in Melbourne in the inner northern suburbs. After completing year 12, Remy moved up to far North Queensland to study veterinary science at James Cook University. Located in tropical Townsville, her studies ranged from treating household pets such as dogs and cats through to infectious disease control in livestock populations. Throughout her final year studying, Remy was lucky enough to travel to the Northern Territory to help provide essential veterinary services to remote indigenous communities.
Despite loving her time living and studying in Queensland, Remy decided to move back to Melbourne to begin her career in small animal general practice. Since moving back to Melbourne, Remy has adopted an adorable greyhound named Bowie (pictured here with Remy). During her spare time, Remy enjoys cooking, discovering and exploring new walking trails with Bowie, playing social basketball and like many Melburnians, going to cheer on her AFL team at the footy.

During his years in Murwillumbah, Steve worked initially as a mixed practice vet, but became increasingly small animal oriented with a strong interest in surgery, and emergency medicine.
Towards the end of his stay in Murwillumbah, Steve started studying for his membership examination of the Australian College of Veterinary Surgeons, initially under the tutelage of Dr Geoff Robbins. He attained his membership in 1999, 6 months after moving back to Melbourne.
