IEMSS

The iEMSs is a unique organization that supports the efficient comunication and knowledge sharing regarding environmental modeling and software. I have enjoyed the work with the president, secretory, treasurer, vice presidents, and other board memeber in the past several years. As we are all working through the pandemics, I would like to advocate and promote the iEMSs through conference orginzation, academic publications, and presentations in the coming years... A few months ago, iEMSs moved to BlueSky at @iemss.org as the society has decided to leave X (Twitter). We still run a LinkedIn group and our colleagues in China run a WeChat Unetwork. We wish to improve our social media presence and develop a communications strategy to ensure that we have multiple effective means of communicating with current and potential members... I have served as a reviewer of the journal Environmental Modeling and Software since its inception and have been recognized by the Society for my review..
