Admiral (Retd) John Jamian

A recognized leader in international transportation, trade development and maritime issues, Mr. Jamian is the Executive Director of the Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority and President of the Jamian Consulting Group. Mr. Jamian recently served as the Acting Maritime Administrator and Deputy Administrator of the U. S. Department of Transportation's Maritime Administration. In this position as the Executive Director of the DWC Port Authority, he oversees the Detroit/Wayne County Port Authorityand the recently completed construction of its $15 million port and passenger terminal building, along with its$7.1 million offshore wharf in the Detroit River. The 400 foot wharf will allow nearly all vessels that ply the lakes - including cruise ships, naval frigates and tall ships - to berth there. Additionally, he works with the Port's different freight docks that serve Detroit's steel,aggregate, asphalt and automotive industry. The Port Authority also serves as the fiduciary agent for the Port's homeland security grants program.

Albert L. Weintraub

Albert L. Weintraub - has provided legal services to foreign and domestic clients in complex financial and foreign trade transactions, involving the representation of governmental entities including State, Municipalities, and Foreign Governments. He has represented various international institutions, joint ventures and specialized entities in their business transactions. As City Attorney and Assistant City Attorney, he has been a public official for 5 municipalities in Florida, drafted specialized legislation (i.e. The Medical Examiner Act), successfully litigated the end of the ATT telephone monopoly in the State of Florida and created many of the current Municipal charters in Miami-Dade County Florida Mr. Weintraub was the founder and Chairman of the Board of Microtel, Inc. and during numerous mergers and acquisitions, the company became the predecessor company of WorldCom, Inc. Mr.Weintraub served on the Board of Directors of WorldCom, Inc. until 1992. He is a former Director of Herzfeld (Cuba) Caribbean Fund, Inc. and present Chairman of the Board of Directors of e-lysium Transaction Systems Inc and Senior Management Director of VIA International Ltd., ae.

Aleksander Kierski

Aleksander Kierski has over 25 years of experience in holding senior executive positions in investment banking and private equity in Western and Eastern Europe. During his career, Aleksander has completed over 20 transaction for over US$ 200 mln as principal for institutional private equity funds. He participated in fundraising and managing over 15 funds (generalist and sector specific) and managed transactions from classical startups to expansion stage financing, LBO's to distressed asset sales and hostile bids. He was a member of the Board in over 20 Telecommunication, High Technology, Media and FMCG companies. Since 2005, Aleksander is the Founder and Managing Partner of JAK Capital, an investment firm that focuses on private equity investments, NPL portfolio acquisitions, distressed asset and real estate transactions. JAK Capital originated, led and structured transactions that were financed by established private equity funds and hedge funds. Previously, for three years, Aleksander held the position of Vice President for Eastern Europe with Citigroup Venture Capital International and managed a private equity portfolio of over US$ 210 mln. Prior to this, Aleksander was Chief Investment Officer in AIG New Europe Fund (private equity fund of over US$ 320 mln focusing on Central Europe). Previously, for 9 years Aleksander was a Partner at Baring Private Equity Partners Ltd. (ING Group) in Paris and Geneva, where he was responsible for investments in France, Switzerland and other Western European countries. He also spent two years with Arthur Andersen (Switzerland) and two years with Postech (a Swiss software company). Aleksander lived his early years in the Far-East, Pacific, Europe and North Africa, where he was educated in French and British Private Schools. Fluent in English, French and Polish, he holds a BSc (Computer Science and Physics) from the University of Sydney, Australia, and a MBA from BSL, Lausanne.

Todd Peterson
