Catherine Achard

Job Titles:
  • Housing & Agency Contracts Manager
Originally from France, Catherine has a French qualification in Social Work and has over 22 years of experience working in Social Care settings in England. She joined Community Options, working with People with Mental Health needs, 15 years ago and has been with Amber Housing for 2 years. She has specialised in Housing Management and housing-related support and has managed teams of Support Time & Recovery workers in the community. She has a wealth of experience, extensive knowledge and understanding in supporting vulnerable people. She holds a Level 4 Diploma in Management and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Social Care.

Ian Bland

Job Titles:
  • Head of Health & Safety
Ian joined Amber Housing in May 2016, moving across from another part of the Heritage Care Group. Ian is NEBOSH qualified and a member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. Ian has experience of working across the public, private and voluntary sector and has been working in the health and social care field for the last 15 years. He holds a BSc(Hons) in Economics and also has qualifications in teaching, quality assurance and project management (Prince 2 Certified Practitioner). Ian has considerable experience of providing training and consultancy services to paying customers. Ian's role is to lead on health and safety.

Jane O'Reilly

Job Titles:
  • Invoice Administrator
Jane is our Invoice Administrator based in Grantham. Jane ensures that repairs are delivered, charged and paid for on time. She has a wealth of experience in this area having previously worked for a local Property Management Company dealing with all aspects of Property Management.

Jeff Driscoll

Job Titles:
  • Head of Growth & Asset Management
Jeff Driscoll delivers the Properties and Assets that Amber Housing is responsible for, and growth of the organisation through the purchase and management of new services and properties. He joined Amber Housing in 2022, and has worked in the Housing sector for 30 years in a number of roles. Prior to this he held positions of Head of Asset Management managing the Asset management strategy for Newlon Housing Trust. He has experience as a surveyor, working his way up to Senior Surveyor at Harlow District Council, which involved preparing and delivering the planned works program, and developing the Asset management strategy for the organisation.

Michelle Misiak

Job Titles:
  • Executive Assistant
Michelle joined Amber Housing in 2021 and provides PA support to the Chief Executive and the leadership team, covering the areas of governance & policies, facilities & asset management, quality & compliance, health & safety and housing management. Michelle has over 30 years of secretarial and administrative experience and has a legal background. She has supported managers at all levels throughout her career, including at partner level. She has a keen interest in learning and gained a BA(Hons) in Social Science, returning to study as a mature student.

Regina Kyei-Mensah

Regina joined Amber Housing in September 2022 as a Housing Officer and before that she worked with Community Options for 13 years, working with people with mental health needs. Regina holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care. Regina loves working in housing because she wants to make a positive difference in people's lives.

Sarah Baxter

Job Titles:
  • Head of Customer Experience
Sarah joined the Amber Housing team in August 2023. She has a wealth of experience in Housing, Repairs and Contractor Management gained across a variety of organisations she has worked for during her career. Sarah's key focus for Amber Housing relates to Housing and the Repairs functions. She holds a BTEC National Certificate in Housing and a HNC Building Housing Studies Certificate. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading and loves to travel.

Troy Henshall - CEO

Job Titles:
  • Chief Executive Officer
Troy has responsibility for strategy, quality and growth, focusing on performance, organisational and service development. He joined Amber Housing in July 2022 having worked in the housing and care sector for 20 years+ across the country in a number of key roles. Previously he had the position of Director of Business Services and Operations at Wandle Housing Association with responsibility for Housing services, customer experience and the majority of back office services across South London. He was also former Chief Executive of the Barnet Group which included Your Choice Barnet, who delivered specialist care and support to adults with a range of physical and learning disabilities.

Yasemin Suleyman

Job Titles:
  • Health & Safety Compliance Officer
Yasemin joined Amber Housing in July 2023 and her major responsibility is the maintenance of all health and safety statutory compliance. Her specific responsibilities are with fire safety, statutory compliance and Legionella/water safety. She previously worked for Ambient Support for six years before coming over to Amber. Yasemin has worked in the Health & Social Care sector for twelve years in various roles. In her spare time away from work, she likes to spend time with her family exploring and making memories.
