ISD BENELUX

The ISD was founded in June 1977 by Günter Flassig and Ernst-Otto Georg as "Ingenieurgesellschaft für Statik und Dynamik im Anlagen- und Maschinenbau" in Dortmund, Germany, and quickly made a name for itself as an engineering company in the field of nuclear technology. Already at that time the first own software for the support of calculations and project processes was developed by the ISD. Already in the 80s ISD concentrated on the development of CAD software, which was still in its infancy at that time. The result was HiCAD, today one of the top 5 CAD systems worldwide and the only one with true 2D/3D associativity and integrated industry solutions.
