Master Chef Marco Maggio has extensive culinary expertise working in different countries. He has cooked for royalty and created many culinary delights for a number of movie stars, fashion designers, and head of states. Marco has over 20 years of experience in food service and was asked to open ‘Aqua' an award- winning restaurant in Hong Kong in both Rome and Tokyo. He has worked as an executive chef at a number of hotels and restaurants around the globe including: Sheraton, Le Royal Meridien, Amari Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza to mention a few. He is professionally acclaimed in Italian, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, French and South East Asian cuisine. Marco's secret to success is his ability to embrace innovation in all cuisines, and his great understanding of a range of ingredients, techniques and appliances from around the globe, which has led him to create such delicious and stimulating dishes. He has spent many years crisscrossing Asia, visiting restaurants, suppliers and wine merchants, learning about every aspect of different cuisines and banking flavour memories for the future. Marco has spent many years perfecting the techniques and seeking out the best ways to harness the flavour of his dishes, which has created the foundations for the service he offers his clients today. Marco's unconstrained approach to cooking, choosing from the entire planet's ingredients, cooking methods, and traditions, to explore what it is possible to do with food and the experience of eating.
