Devon Parry

Job Titles:
  • Associate
Devon loves coaching, whether it's helping our clients understand their net worth projections using real-time planning tools or developing bantam curlers so they can take their curling to the next level. Devon began his career at RBC in 2016, as a technical specialist. Before long, he had joined our team to help with investment research, trade execution, and wealth plan coordination. Given the analytical nature of his responsibilities, it comes as no surprise to our clients that Devon has a Master's degree in Exploration Geophysics, and is a self-proclaimed "heavy user and secret fan of spreadsheets." However, what comes as a surprise to some of our clients is that Devon once curled competitively and at the provincial level. It's a passion of Devon's that he credits as reinforcing the power of discipline, teamwork, and having fun doing what you love.

Elyse Clements

Job Titles:
  • Senior Portfolio Manager & Wealth Advisor
Several years into her career as an aerospace engineer, Elyse started to notice there was "little relationship between what I put in and what came out." That's when she began to take a close interest in the wealth management space, where Elyse recognized a direct and clear correlation between the effort put into caring, listening, helping, and developing deep relationships with clients, and the success clients achieved in wealth and life. And so, Elyse took the leap into wealth management, where her passion for people and drive (in other words, what she put in), would create financial peace of mind for her clients. Today, Elyse has over 25 years of experience helping individuals, families, and business owners with their financial planning and investment needs. She leads the Clements Private Wealth team with a strong belief in building things to last, be that her clients' wealth or her talented team. Highly technical and analytical by nature, Elyse embodies the growth mindset of learning, curiosity, and working hard to arrive at solutions. Yet, building relationships is what ultimately motivates her; that, and helping her clients live a "balanced life" of enjoying the wealth that our team helps them build and protect. For Elyse, part of living a "balanced life" is giving back to her community. This includes several years on non-profit boards, including the University of Sudbury, Science North, and the Sudbury Community Foundation. As avid cyclists, Elyse and her husband spend much of their spare time cycling throughout the region. Elyse completed a degree in aerospace engineering as well as graduate work at the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies before beginning her career at deHavilland (Bombardier) Aircraft. After earning advanced industry certifications, including the rigorous Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designations, Elyse became part of a select group of advisors at RBC who are licensed Portfolio Managers within the Private Investment Management group.
