people.io was founded in 2015 by Nicholas Oliver, a data privacy entrepreneur who sought to give people control over the access, use and value of their personal data. Following early successes, people.io unfortunately could not keep up with demand and was put on hold in 2018... people.io is a trading name of C8 Management Ltd (09703904), a company registered in England and Wales... Launched in 2017, people.io seeks to redress this balance and create a global ecosystem in which individuals regain control over the access, use and value of their personal data; whilst also enabling the creation of data-centric products and services that put control at their heart.
