The Heidelberg University Hospital and the German Cancer Research Center (dkfz) fight in close cooperation against cancer and have joint forces on multiple levels and topics and have set up multidisciplinary deparments such as the National Center of Tumor deseases (NCT) and the Heidelberg Institute of Radiation Oncology (HIRO).
