RFC Portables was started in the Spring of 2005 by a sole individual, Ryan Frank, who continues to design and help construct these buildings. The idea of building originally came from his father, Donny Frank, owner of Bork Lumber and Steel, Inc.. Donny thought that small portable options for local farmers would provide lower prices than that of a traditional construction crew and also be supplemental income for his son. Originally there were only 3 portable buildings: a 7 stall calf hut, a 12' x 18' Open Front and an 18' x 24' Open Front. As demand grew for those core buildings, so did the company...
