MARTIN THANBICHLER

Our lab is located in Marburg, Germany, a beautiful historic city with more than 35 research groups working in the field of microbiology. We are associated with the Faculty of Biology at Philipps University, the Max Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology, and the Center for Synthetic Microbiology (Synmikro). Our students participate in several microbiology-related graduate programs, including the International Max Planck Research School for Environmental, Cellular and Molecular Microbiology (IMPRS-Mic) and the Integrated Research Training Group of the DFG-funded Collaborative Research Center SFB 987... Website of the Thanbichler lab, which seeks to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying the subcellular organization of bacterial cells.
