Founded by A. R. Delcambre in 1948, Vermilion Shell and Limestone is a Louisiana based, family owned business that was incorporated in 1960. James H. Trahan assumed control of the company in 1968. In 1990, James passed control of the company to his children, Kim, Pam, Jan, and Ann, who followed in their father's footsteps until present... Being family owned and operated for over 3 generations now, Vermilion Shell and Limestone is the exception to the rule. Most business that are passed down to the 2nd generation don't make it. They know they are breaking down barriers and thriving because of their commitment to their customers and the quality work that they put into every job they take on, no matter the size of it.
