Paul Horton and Roger Gough started DEK Graphics in 1994. Based on the Chandler's Ford Industrial Estate the business began as a traditional reprographics house, supplying film and platemaking services to litho printers in the area... During the next five years the local printing industry declined heavily. Our reprographics customers had been able to borrow money too easily to buy printing presses that could produce more work than they could find sales for. At the same time, the Internet began to act as a significant selling tool and the amount of print produced fell sharply. The result was an unprecedented spate of businesses failing.
