Alphasea specializes in niche software solutions that are critical for certain parts of the value chain in fish farming operations. Our main focus is solutions for farmers of Atlantic salmon, but we also have experience in other species, especially Nile tilapia... In addition to software solutions we also provide more traditional consultancy services for aquaculture farming companies wishing to improve their current breeding program or perhaps start from scratch. These services include breeding nucleus design, calculation of breeding values, contact with genotyping laboratories and DNA sampling protocols including PIT tagging.
