Lisa Shepard, owner of Chicago's Pizza in Spencer, Indiana, moved to Putnam County in the 90s. She loved the small-town feel of the area, so she raised her family in Owen County, where her son attended Spencer/Owen Community Schools from kindergarten through graduation.
She partnered with the Ellettsville location in 2011 and opened the Spencer location with Craig Schwartz in 2015. Craig, a silent partner, retired in 2017, making Lisa the sole owner.
Owner Noah Epple is very familiar with the Chicago's Pizza family. For a decade he worked with his brother, Nate Epple, at the Indianapolis Chicago's Pizza location, where he developed a passion for the industry.
