ANTBEAR LODGE

Antbear lodge offers meals that are special. We source as much as possible form our own organic garden. We have our own chickens for eggs, cows for milk, we bake our own bread and even make our own cheese... Antbear Lodge offers slow horse trails that are ideally suited to beginners. We practice the gentler horse whispering methods of training our horses and concentrate on calm and sure... Antbear Eco Lodge is situated in the Drakensberg region of KwaZulu Natal near to Giants Castle. What makes this lodge particularly special is that accommodation in a luxury cave is on offer. This is an accommodation unit built under a rock. Glass doors open onto a wooden deck with hammock chairs and a spectacular view of the Drakensberg Mountains. This is a luxury eco experience. The cave is cozy and comfortable with features like a Jacuzzi spa bath and a fireplace and even has rock art on its walls.
