She is an invaluable assistant to Amelia Barrett, the youth choirs, and the entire DCS Board. Whether organizing scores, leading fundraisers, helping at rehearsals, or organizing camp, Robin is always busy aiding our youngsters. Robin's influence and dedication are evident in our young singers' performances and composure at home and on tour. Robin feels grateful to be able to rub shoulders with so many in the Durango musical community as she works in this wonderful organization. She has lived at Vallecito Lake for 38 years with her husband John, and they raised three children there. Robin and John enjoy their 7 grandchildren. Besides music, Robin also loves a quiet rural life, nature, animals, and trying to mix the wild vegetation of the mountains with a few cultivated garden spots.
