Eat Logic are a new 'future jazz' project. They combine electronic and acoustic elements with UK street idioms, jazz instrumentation and melodic improvisation. Their players and singers have helped to define the sound of British underground music over the past two decades. Our members have played in bands like JTQ, Courtney Pine, Vibraphonic, Massive Attack, Basement Jaxx, Chaka Khan and Hugh Masekela - iconic artists who hold a firm place in the history of Acid Jazz and Electronic Dance Music... Good question! Have you ever felt like Jazz in 2020 is stuck somewhere between the 1940s and the 1980s? Original 'Jazz' was current music adapted from the streets and dance venues. UK Jazz in 2020 is missing many of the unique sounds originating from the UK underground. Eat Logic are one of the few bands in 2020 who are committed to the undiluted sound and flavour of these genres. We believe that for Jazz to remain relevant, it's crucial for jazz musicians to reflect the current world around..
