James F. Leonick

James F. Leonick ("Jim") graduated from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 1989 and has been practicing law for 35 years. Prior to establishing Leonick Law P.L.L.C., he was a partner at Parisi & Leonick, L.L.P., a Glen Cove based general practice law firm. Jim has extensive experience in handling personal injury cases as a Senior Trial Attorney with several major insurance companies, trying cases in the New York State Courts from Westchester throughout New York City and Long Island. Jim and his wife Lisa established Leonick Law, P.L.L.C. in 2014. Jim practices Accident and Injury Law, representing accident victims in a wide variety of cases, including car accidents, slip and falls, work related accidents, burn cases, explosions, pedestrian accidents and other injury cases. While honing his litigation skills, Jim also prepared Wills and Trusts for clients and performed many real estate transactions, both residential and commercial. Building on this background, he now designs estate plans for his clients, plans for their elder care, and guides families through the estate process when a loved one dies. Jim is a devoted family man, has been active in various community organizations where he donated much of his spare time earning the trust and appreciation of many Long Islanders. He also served as an Administrative Law Judge in the Town of Huntington's Bureau of Administrative Adjudication.

Lisa Leonick

Lisa Leonick is also a graduate of Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, and has been practicing law since 1990. Prior to co-founding Leonick Law, P.L.L.C., Lisa was a sole practitioner, concentrating predominantly on Real Estate transactions and Estate Planning. Prior to that, she was a member of Lysaght, Lysaght & Kramer, P.C. where she represented N.Y.C. Police Officers in handling their Real Estate transactions. She has handled all phases of Real Estate matters, including representing buyers, sellers, and lenders in residential transactions involving houses, condominiums, and cooperatives. In addition, she has extensive title company experience. Lisa has strong community ties in the Huntington area for the past 21 years through her involvement with Boy Scouts and the Northport School District PTA.
