Adnan I. Akeel

Mr. Adnan Akeel is a partner with Meirc Training & Consulting. He holds a bachelor in accounting from Yarmouk University in Jordan and a master in business administration with a specialization in finance from Hult International Business School. Adnan is a certified public accountant (CPA) licensed by the Illinois state board of accountancy, a certified management accountant (CMA), a certified finance manager (CFM), and a certified six sigma green belt. Adnan is also a certified Microsoft Excel expert, certified corporate financial planning & analysis professional (FP&A), certified in international financial reporting (ACCA), certified fraud examiner (CFE), and certified treasury professional (CTP). He is a member of the USA institute of management accountants (IMA) and of the Jordanian association of certified public accountants (JACPA). Experience With over 25 years of professional diversified experience in the Middle East, Adnan held senior corporate positions including chief financial officer, finance director, director of budgeting and reporting, corporate finance manager, financial controller, accounting manager, chief accountant and senior auditor. Adnan's industry experience is rich and diversified and includes public and private investments, contracting, telecommunications, food & beverage, sports, jewelry and luxury goods, real estate development, hospitality as well as banking and external audit. During his career Adnan worked with a number of leading international and regional corporations such as PepsiCo, Arthur Andersen, Dubai Holding, Jordan Telecom Group, Arab Bank, Alfardan Group, HAMG, and Marya Development and Real Estate Investment. Prior to joining Meirc, Adnan was the finance director for Arabtec Holding as well as the acting CFO for Arabtec Properties where he was responsible for special projects such as corporate finance and restructuring, business performance and mergers & acquisitions. Expertise As a subject matter expert in accounting and finance with a long practical experience, Adnan offers training courses and consulting services in the fields of financial and managerial accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable management, consolidated financial statements, financial analysis, financial modeling, business valuations, Microsoft Excel as well as internal control and audit. In addition, Adnan has hands-on expertise in the fields of budgeting and reporting, treasury and cash management, international financial reporting standards (IFRS), and implementation of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and business intelligence tools.

Ahmad A. Ghannoum

Ahmad Ghannoum is a partner and deputy managing director of Meirc Training & Consulting. He is the author of Supply Unchained (First Edition, 2021, ISBN 978-1-7372880-7-7). Ahmad holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the American University of Beirut and an International Executive Master of Business Administration from IE Business School in Madrid. Ahmad is also an alumnus of the Executive Program in Strategy and Organization at Stanford University. He is an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (FCILT), and a member of the board of CILT UAE. Experience Ahmad has extensive experience in strategy, leadership, and supply chain management. In 1999, he launched his career in Istanbul, where he managed the supply chain for FMCG industry leaders Dole Fresh Fruits, Sadia, and Tyson Foods in Turkey and the CIS countries. Later, he developed and led the procurement department for the telecom provider MTN in Conakry, Guinea. Prior to joining Meirc, Ahmad was a principal consultant with TCO Management Consulting, a Dubai-based boutique consultancy, where he advised leaders in the healthcare, media, and government sectors on matters of strategic planning and organizational restructuring. Ahmad has also been involved in numerous research undertakings and is the author of several acclaimed white papers. Expertise At Meirc, Ahmad facilitates courses in supply chain management, contracts management, and strategy. He also specializes in various behaviour topics on leadership and management skills. In addition to his training expertise, Ahmad engages in surgical consulting assignments related to supply chain management, strategic planning, and organizational design.

Alaa R. Elbaz

Mr. Alaa Elbaz is a partner with Meirc Training & Consulting. He holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Kuwait University, a master of science in mechanical and industrial engineering from the University of Jordan, and a master of business administration, with concentration in management information systems, from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Experience Alaa has over fifteen years of experience in project management, contract administration, supply chain and business development management. With Ford Motor Company in Michigan, he was program manager responsible for preparing project scopes, maintaining schedules, administrating contracts with vendors, tracking budgets, handling variation orders and claims and reporting performances. As part of his responsibilities in the project management office (PMO) at Ford Motor Company, Alaa was also responsible for developing project methodologies and plans, as well as change management processes. As project manager with Danlaw Inc. and consultant with Daimler Chrysler and General Motors, Alaa assumed responsibilities ranging from project launching to market research and from risk assessment to developing product quality assurance plans. Alaa's experience includes projects in different areas such as product development, information technology (application and infrastructure), industrial facilities, quality programs and maintenance projects. Expertise With Meirc, Alaa conducts a variety of training programs in the areas of project management including preparation for project management professional certification (PMP®), contract preparation and administration, procurement and supply chain management, as well as maintenance and quality management. Alaa's expertise is supplemented by a number of professional certifications. He is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI®), a certified program management professional (PgMP®), a certified project management professional (PMP®), an agile certified professional (PMI-ACP®), a certified project risk management professional (PMI-RMP®) and a certified training practitioner (CTP™) from the Institute of Performance and Learning in Canada. Dr. Bassam M. Nammour

Dr. Bassam Nammour is a Senior Consultant at Meirc Training & Consulting. He holds a Doctorate of Business Administration from ESC Clermont Graduate School of Management in France, an Executive Masters of Business Administration from the Lebanese American University in Lebanon, a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of London in England, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Notre Dame University in Lebanon. His latest publication was "Talent Management: Theory to Practice," a book, found on Amazon, with practical insights on managing talent in organizations. Bassam is an active member of major global Human Resources societies and has several certifications from Harvard Business School and the ROI Institute in the USA, Oxford University in England, and the Institute of HR in Canada. Experience With over 22 years of experience in human resource development and people management, Bassam has gained broad practical knowledge in these areas and an impressive degree of cultural diversity learned through the jobs he has held both regionally and locally. His career has expanded into several fields in the Middle East from the retail industry with The Sultan Center in Kuwait and Spinneys to the utilities industry with Sukleen-Averda. Afterward, he moved to banking with Byblos and Credit Libanais Banks. His career was mainly in training, talent, and Human Resources management. Bassam was also the senior advisor for ThinkHR-me, a human assets management company. Bassam has been improving his ability to train in the real world by attending many specialized courses, getting certifications, and attending international executive conferences. He has also received professional training licenses from SOSI - Science of Strategy Institute and ATD - Association for Talent Development. Expertise Bassam is a member in HBR Advisory Council. Dr. Dory Daw is a Senior Consultant in Meirc Training and Consulting. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master's in Business Administration from the Lebanese American University, a Master of Philosophy in Business Administration from Nottingham Trent University in the UK, and a PhD (with high distinction) in Business Diplomacy from CEDS/INSEEC U. in Paris. Dory also has a Harvard Leaders of Learning certificate. In addition, he's a scholar who has published in the Polish Journal of Management Studies and other ABDC and Scopus-listed journals. Dr. Fawzi A. Bawab

Fawzi is a partner with Meirc. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration with focus on operational excellence from Edinburgh Business School at Heriot Watt University in the UK. He also holds a postgraduate certificate in business research methods from the same university. He holds an M.Sc. in industrial engineering and a B.Sc. in civil engineering from University of Jordan. He is a senior member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), the American Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) and the American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM). Among the certifications he holds are certified quality lead assessor with IRCA of England, certified TS16949 automotive assessor, approved ASQ Lean Six Sigma instructor and ASQ certified manager of quality and organizational excellence. Fawzi is a registered professional engineer (P.E.) with the engineering association in Jordan, a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt (CSSMBB) and a Kaplan-Norton strategy and KPI qualified practitioner. Fawzi is a certified training practitioner (CTP) from the Institute of Performance and Learning, Canada. Experience Prior to joining Meirc, Fawzi held several managerial positions in Canada and the Middle East. He was the training director and a consultant with British Standards Institution (BSI)- Americas based out of Ottawa, Canada. He also was the regional business manager with BSI based in Dubai, UAE. Before that, he was the training director with KPMG Quality Registrar in North America. Fawzi also worked with IBM/GBM as the quality manager/specialist for IBM locations in the Gulf region. Earlier in his career, he worked as a quality consultant with Talal Abu Ghazleh consulting firm in Dubai. Fawzi also worked for a leading insurance company in Jordan as an assistant marketing manager and quality coordinator. Expertise Fawzi has more than 30-year worth of top management experience in various companies in areas of quality, strategy planning and organizational improvement. At Meirc Training and Consulting, he has been supporting and coaching organizations in achieving their business objectives through training and consulting for business process improvement. His areas of competence include delivery of public and customized private in-house training in all areas of corporate quality systems. Experience Jamal's professional career evolved through his years of service with leading multi-nationals with operations throughout the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Russia, Central Asia and Africa. He started his career with Pepsi Cola International where he managed their information and communication technology (ICT) regional requirements while working with the franchise's partners on maximizing their own ICT investments to improve growth and operational efficiency. He then moved to Sun Microsystems where he assumed regional management roles in the areas of commercial and sales operations as well as business engagement. He later became Sun's general manager in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he led the company's operations for three years, and provided leading edge solutions to various industries. Before joining Meirc, Jamal was enterprise sales director for the energy sector at Cisco Saudi Arabia where he delivered networking, security and collaboration solutions for the oil and gas, petrochemical and mining space. Expertise Jamal's expertise covers a number of disciplines including sales and sales operations, key account management, territory and regional management, strategic planning, budgeting, compensation and benefits, project management and conflict resolution. Previously, with a tenure spanning over ten years at Aramex International, Hani held pivotal roles in logistics operations and strategic planning. He established a Project Management Office (PMO) at international companies, which helped him consistently drive operational efficiencies and foster high-performance teams.
