Bill Ross

Ross is a graduate of the Alabama Aviation College with an Associate of Science in Flight Technology and has been a certified flight instructor, corporate/charter pilot and licensed airframe and powerplant mechanic for over 30 years. He also holds a Bachelors of Science from the University of South Alabama. In his spare time, Ross is active in classic aircraft restorations and enjoys introducing the joys of flying to young enthusiasts as well as exposing them to aviation career paths. Prior to joining Superior Air Parts, Ross had 14 years experience working for a major piston aircraft engine manufacturer where he held positions in various areas such as Quality Engineering, Analytical, Customer Service, Technical Product Support, and MRO and FBO Operations. His multi-faceted background in the industry, as well as real world flying and maintenance experience has solidified Ross being recognized as a leader and contributor in General Aviation.

Darryl Dyson

Job Titles:
  • Director of Production and Inventory Control
Over 25 years of operational excellence within manufacturing, materials management, operations management, strategic sourcing, warehouse management, customer support, EHS, ERP/MRP implementation along with coaching and mentoring.

Jeff Lochridge

Job Titles:
  • VP of Supply Chain Management
With 32 years in supply chain managment, Jeff has 11 years experience in aviation with a wide variety of materials and processes. He also has training in Continuous Flow Manufacturing, Supplier Certification, Six Sigma Methodology and Time Management. Jeff has a Bachelors of Science in Biology and Certification in Electronic Technology.

Keith Chatten - CEO

Prior to joining Superior Air Parts, Chatten had been the Associate Vice President of Engineering for Continental Motors, Inc. During his 14-plus-year career there he had held a variety of Engineering and Program Management positions with increasing responsibilities within the engine manufacturing company. Before joining Continental, he was a Project Engineer for John Deere Consumer Products. Chatten holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree from Louisiana Tech University, as well as an MBA from the University of South Alabama. He has hands-on experience in virtually every current production piston powered aircraft and has over 4,000 hours of flight time. The combination of educational, professional and flight experience have combined to prepare Chatten to lead Superior Air Parts into its promising future.

Kent Abercrombie - CFO

Kent has a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance. With 27 years in aviation, he has experience with contract negotiation, bank and financial audits, insurance and legal administration, financial reporting.
