- Assistant Project Manager
Adam came to us at age 21 as a Trainee Project Manager and is now successfully running his own jobs. Adam has been in the industry since he was 16 and has achieved a Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services. A fast learner, he undertook domestic work at Guernsey Electricity before moving to a local FM provider and transitioning into an office role. Having a hunger to work on large commercial projects Adam joined C8 as the largest M&E company locally, in order to further his learning. He quickly rose to his current role, receiving technical training in CAD design, project management and pricing. When he's not holding down projects he's lifting weights or out fishing.

- Senior Refrigeration Manager
Alan Le Page is joins us as Senior Refrigeration Manager and has plans to take our Refrigeration department to the next level. He's passionate about what he does, and his role will encompass technical design, sales and liaising with clients. He has an extensive and varied background going back to 1972. From 1991 to 2014 he ran his own firm, Apex Services Ltd. He has worked in many specialised roles and has a list of qualifications longer than his arm in refrigeration, air conditioning, gas technology and boiler engineering. Given his substantial experience, we're certain Alan will be a valuable asset and role model within the company. Alan has worked his trade in Guernsey, Jersey, New Zealand and Australia.

- Fire & Security Service Manager
Born in Guernsey, Ben started his electrical apprenticeship with a commercial installations company and through the College of Further Education, Ben has attained his City and Guilds and 17th Edition. From there he has gathered extensive knowledge on electrical, fire & security, generator and UPS installations working for a local alarms, UPS and generator specialist. He then went on to work for a local FM company and acquired more knowledge on commercial installations, being the trouble shooter for the electrical services department. Bens experience and knowledge on specialist electrical systems bolsters C8's capabilities it can offer to its clients.
Danny Carre started out as an apprentice in 1989 at Allied Heating Systems, quickly mastering his trade and taking on the company as sole owner from 1994 to 2018. His wealth of experience includes working on major local projects such as:
Born and educated in the UK, Darren learnt his trade as an electrician in Leicester. Having worked for a large electrical company for several years carrying out commercial fit outs across the country, he was seconded to work on a project locally in Guernsey as Electrical foreman. Since then he has worked on many of the islands buildings utilised by the financial, retail and hospitality sectors. Darren shows unrivalled work ethic and a broad spectrum of electrical skills and knowledge, managing a variety of contracts single-handedly. This being shown, Darren was selected for specialist training and is now fully accredited to design and install photovoltaic installations for domestic and commercial applications. He is also fully trained in fire alarm design, installation, maintenance and commissioning, having installed and commissioned many of the largest systems locally. Darren's management experience ensures C8's variety of projects are delivered on time and to the highest possible standards.

- Electrical Service Manager
Raised and educated in Guernsey Ian completed an apprenticeship in electrical engineering and worked for a local electrical contractor for 18 years, working on many of the islands landmark projects as an electrical foreman. Ian then went on to be self-employed, working for himself carrying out electrical contracting for a wide range of clients including looking after the ongoing planned preventative maintenance for the Island of Brecqhou. With 36 years of experience in the trade, Ian heads up C8s maintenance department, running the daily programming and coordinating of the incoming reactive calls and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) contracts. His vast experience ensures our ever-increasing maintenance portfolio of new and existing clients are met with the highest level of service.
Born and educated in Guernsey, Liam learnt his trade as an apprentice plumber at the PEH Hospital as a member of the PEH estates team. Liam then went on to work for domestic and commercial companies, again working at the PEH site as a mechanical engineer on the Phase 5 project. Prior to starting at C8 he was the lead foreman for a local FM company working on a variety of projects from Schools to Care homes. Liam's knowledge of 20 years installing systems both commercial and domestic are invaluable to C8. His supervisory and contract management role ensures projects are on time and within budget.
Born in Guernsey and educated at the Guernsey Grammar School and the UK, Nick has over 15 years in the industry and is a fully qualified Building Services Engineer and experienced project manager, having worked on a broad array of some of the largest and technical projects in Guernsey. Nick has a vast knowledge and experience working within the industry on the island, having picked up many skills over the years, from fire and security design to air conditioning and ventilation. Starting in the industry as a school leaver, he joined a local mechanical and electrical contractor as trainee design engineer, running his own jobs as project manager by the age of 21, he went on the become a senior project manager, leaving to start C8 and is now the creator and a director of C8 Ltd. Having a can-do attitude, he is the driving force behind C8.
Nick Young is highly experienced in commercial installations, working on several large projects over his 30-year career including Hong Kong International Airport, Leicester City's King Power Stadium and the Ford Dagenham motor factory. He has lived in Guernsey for the past 20 years and worked on the majority of large commercial jobs within the island during that time. When he's not stuck in on a job, Nick loves his music and gardening.
Ollie Ashworth joins the team at C8. Born in Guernsey and educated at Elizabeth College and the UK. He comes from a mechanical engineering background, having worked previously for 8 years at a specialist manufacturing company and holding a HND in Mechanical engineering. This mechanical background has gained him a wealth of practical knowledge in design and project management, completing bespoke builds of surface finishing equipment for a range of industries, from inception to commissioning on the factory floor. Ollie is proficient and qualified in AutoCAD and has great attention to detail.
Having grown up in London but moving to Guernsey to complete his Secondary Education at St Sampson's High School, Paul went on to do his electrical apprenticeship locally which he completed in 2001. Since then Paul has worked for several local companies on both domestic and commercial projects gaining extensive knowledge in the industry along the way. His experience of working on large building sites has given him knowledge of multiple disciplines, allowing him to manage projects involving mechanical, electrical, fire and security elements, making him an invaluable asset to the C8 team. Paul also has his testing and inspection qualifications and is C8's electrical testing officer, ensuring our high-quality standards are always met. When not managing sites, Paul enjoys Scuba Diving, in which he is fully qualified, this has helped him become very self-disciplined which is clearly reflected in his work.
Born in Guernsey and educated at Elizabeth College and the UK, Rob joined a local FM company as a school leaver and was soon designing mechanical and electrical services to a high standard as well as project managing commercial projects. Rob completed his HNC in Building Services Engineering in the UK, now having 10 years of design and build experience within the industry. At C8, he is responsible for tendering/surveying, as well as combined mechanical and electrical design services. An experienced CAD operator for M&E design and one of few on Guernsey, Rob is a great asset to have on the team.
