Alice Crowsley is responsible for organising and marketing the School's training events for the construction market and wellbeing topic, well as supporting other projects within the School.
Alice Crowsley joined Action Sustainability in May 2023 as a Project Coordinator for the construction market and wellbeing topic within the award-winning Supply Chain Sustainability School. She is responsible for organising and marketing training events in these areas as well as supporting other projects within the School.
Prior to this, Alice worked in the charity sector managing and organising events to assist small charities in a variety of sectors including sustainability. Her hobbies include writing, boardgames, and climbing when she gets the chance.

Andrew has worked with the Directors of Action Sustainability since 1999 when he first worked with Ian and Shaun on a supply chain project at Heathrow Airport. Since then, Andrew worked with Ian building and running a thriving events management business in his home city of Newcastle. When that business was sold to Umi, Andrew managed their operations and events team before becoming their Business Development Director.
Andrew exited Umi in 2017 and ran his own consultancy and B2B events business whilst supporting the Supply Chain Sustainability School's work in Scotland and the growing collaboration with National Highways. Andrew joined the School as a permanent staff member in December 2023 and now leads our work with HS2 and National Highways, as well as continuing to develop the School's presence and influence in Scotland.
Andrew speaks Italian and French, and enjoys foreign travel, whether for business or pleasure. He likes to visit Italy whenever possible to indulge his passion for Italian food (and wine). His main hobby is road cycling - which he still occasionally finds time for between his professional and family lives.
Anna is a dedicated sustainability professional with expertise in sustainable procurement, human rights, modern slavery, and social impact.
With experience in both the UK and Australia, Anna has developed and managed sustainability initiatives, including compliance with the UK Modern Slavery Act, during her time at Aggregate Industries. She was recognised as a UK Modern Slavery Top 100 Influencer in 2018.
At Action Sustainability Asia Pacific, Anna co-authored key publications on human rights and modern slavery, including EPSA's ‘Respecting Human Rights in Our Supply Chains' and PASA's ‘Addressing Modern Slavery Through Procurement'. Her consultancy work continues to support clients like Barratt Developments, Zero Waste Scotland, and Proxima.
In her personal life, Anna is committed to sustainability, having recently relocated to the UK and focused on living sustainably, from selecting ethical banks to exploring charity and antique shops.

Annabel supports Sustainability Tool clients with the implementation and rollout of their accounts, and helps them with supply chain engagement and management.
Annabel joined Action Sustainability as a Client Relationship Executive in June 2023. She supports Sustainability Tool clients with the implementation and rollout of their accounts, and helps them with supply chain engagement and management.
Annabel is early in her career and is excited to learn from the rest of her team and grow her professional skillset. She has a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science and is dedicated to sustainability. She has a background in customer service, which, combined with her education in sustainability, provides a solid foundation to develop in her role.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time by the sea, watching amateur comedy acts at a local comedy club, and indoor rock climbing/bouldering.

Antoinette Irving is a Project Manager for the Supply Chain Sustainability School. Her role is primarily focused on the delivery of two exciting CITB projects "Downloading a Digital Mindset" and "Performance through Procurement". Each project is working closely with the built environment industry to implement change across both areas.
With nearly 20 years' experience in the events sector, Antoinette's previous clients cover the public and private sectors, in which she worked closely to help deliver CSR targets, including Stansted and London City Airports. She has had the pleasure of working with the Scottish Government to develop Scotland House in London, aimed at Scottish companies to take advantage of business opportunities.
Antoinette also enjoyed the challenge of project managing the "Greater London Joint Initiative" programme, a joint venture between CITB and the London Enterprise panel (LEP) for a £2 million fund to provide training, support and work placements in the construction sector around London.
Antoinette has a passion for music, keeping hold of her dancing roots. When she hears a salsa beat she can't help herself but cha, cha, cha her way across the room. She loves to travel the world with her family, exploring new colours, smells and creating memories.
Aya joined the Action Sustainability team in April 2021 as a Business Administration Apprentice across the Supply Chain Sustainability School and Sustainability Tool, before moving onto solely working on the Sustainability Tool as a Customer & Software Support Analyst.
Outside of work, Aya likes to take up adventures. Some of the challenges she has conquered include Penny boarding, basic coding, and wall climbing.
Becky works in the award-winning Supply Chain Sustainability School as a Customer Account Manager, supporting the School's collaboration of 200+ funding Partners.
With over 10 years of experience working in events, Becky began working for Action Sustainability in July 2016 and works in the award-winning Supply Chain Sustainability School as a Customer Account Manager, supporting the School's collaboration of 200+ funding Partners to ensure they get maximum value from their Partnership with the School and help them to develop and deliver strategies to drive learning and sustainability competence internally and through their supply chain. Becky also works closely with the senior management team, providing logistical and office management assistance.
Prior to this role, with over 10 years of experience working in events, Becky was Events and Marketing Officer for the Construction and Homes markets, ensuring that the business plans for these were delivered on time and to target.

Briony currently supports all of the Sustainability Tool clients with the implementation and roll out of their accounts, and works with them to engage and manage their supply chain.
Briony joined The Supply Chain Sustainability School in 2021 as a Project Manager supporting clients in the delivery of their training programmes, before moving over to Action Sustainability in 2022 as Client Relationship Manager. She currently works supporting all of the Sustainability Tool clients with the implementation and roll out of their accounts and works with them to engage and manage their supply chain.
She has a background in lean project management, previously working within the Education & Training and Events Management industry, where she worked extensively with high profile clients such as Multiplex, British Athletics and Ford Motors. She has always been incredibly passionate about ensuring clients are provided the best possible experience in order to carry out their business strategies to the highest standards.
In her early career, Briony spent 6 years within the hospitality industry as a trained chef, working within Michelin star restaurants around the North East of England. She still loves to cook in her spare time, (but mainly because her fiancé refuses to), and has an incredible passion for traveling, spending a lot of her early 20's exploring Asia and North America.
Carole Ann has a long-standing interest in sustainability and is a member of the Supply Chain Sustainability School. She has worked in adult education for many years and also as the Workforce Development Accounts Manager and Work Placement Coordinator for Lancashire College, part of Lancashire CC. She attended the very first BS8903 Sustainable Procurement training session which was the fore runner of the ISO 20400.
In 2017, Carole Ann was appointed to the post of Project Manager for the social enterprise of Action Sustainability Community Interest Group (ASCIC). And has since become a Director.

Charles Naud leads the Sustainability Tool, making ESG reporting and sustainability measurement impactful for clients and their supply chains.
He oversees the implementation and commercialisation of our measurement solutions, helping infrastructure and construction clients streamline their ESG reporting and enhance performance management.
Charles believes that effective sustainability reporting is key to driving the transition to a more sustainable future. He focuses on ensuring that reporting is actionable and enables organisations to make data-driven decisions that lead to measurable outcomes.
With a strong background in software start-ups and product development, Charles helps clients choose the right reporting solutions, manages a dynamic team, and drives continuous product innovation. He brings detailed knowledge of carbon measurement, corporate and supply chain ESG reporting frameworks.
Charles holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a diploma in sustainability. He has advised global companies like Engie, Ikea, and Walmart as an innovation consultant.
Fluent in English and French, with proficiency in Spanish, Charles is also learning Portuguese. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities, particularly water sports, and spending time with his daughter.

Dana is the Head of Fairness Inclusion and Respect (FIR) Programme at Action Sustainability.
A native Trinidadian, she has now lived in the UK for over 20 years and has spent most of her career helping companies across the globe build diverse teams and shape inclusive cultures.
Dana's FIR Programme team works to keep the work of inclusion front-of-mind in the industry and to benchmark and communicate both progress and ways to go, leading discussions and showcasing and celebrating best practices for inclusion across the sector. The free industry-endorsed resources, training, initiatives, reports, events and conferences the team works on, help address workplace culture challenges and build fair and respectful working environments.
Outside of work, Dana prioritises time with her family especially time spent in the great outdoors. Growing up in the Caribbean fostered her passion for swimming, so she also spends lots of time at her local pool and lido, even though the waters never quite reach tropical temperatures.

David is responsible for developing and delivering the School's training materials around digital construction, MMC and offsite. He also leads the School's Wales Leadership Group.
David Emery is a Consultant with the Supply Chain Sustainability School and is responsible for developing and delivering the School's training materials around digital construction, MMC (modern methods of construction) and offsite. He also leads the School's Wales Leadership Group.
David's background is as an architectural technologist. He was BIM (building information monitoring) manager on the first 5D BIM projects in the UK, and his company was the first in the UK to be awarded ‘Graphisoft Registered Consultant' status.
He has presented at workshops and industry events on the topics of BIM, DfMA (design for manufacture and assembly) and offsite construction to thousands of people over the last 20 years. He first worked with the School several years ago and the relationship culminated with him joining the team full-time in 2021.
David was recently awarded an MSc in Offsite Housing Construction. He is married to his endlessly supportive wife Sue and he has three grown-up children and four grandchildren.

Driving sustainability through strategic carbon management and procurement solutions.
James leads our Consultancy team with over 20 years of experience in product sustainability and sustainable procurement.
His work focuses on assessing the sustainability impacts of products throughout their life cycles and implementing effective supply chain sustainability initiatives. James has developed sustainable procurement policies and carbon footprinting strategies for clients such as Network Rail, Unilever, Tesco, IKEA, Vodafone, and Defra.
Inspired by environmental disasters such as the Bhopal and Exxon Valdez incidents, James pursued a Ph.D. where he researched methods for removing industrial pollution from water, fuelling his passion for sustainability.
Beyond his consultancy work, he is active in carbon reduction initiatives, including training through the Supply Chain Sustainability School, and contributes to local environmental efforts such as tree planting and organic farming.

EJ Allen brings 20 years of experience in developing sustainable supply chains, with expertise across construction, homes, rail, utilities, facilities management, healthcare, and defence.
At Action Sustainability, EJ has developed a modern slavery gap analysis assessment tool and authored significant guidance, including the Procurement Guidance on Modern Slavery in Solar PV supply chains. She leads the UK's largest anti-slavery collaboration in the built environment through the Supply Chain Sustainability School's modern slavery group.
Her clients include Ministry of Justice, Defra, Barclays, EQUANS, and Sky. Before her current role, EJ managed sustainable supply chain projects for local and central government and clients in the built environment. Fluent in Spanish and French, and proficient in Japanese and Catalan, EJ enjoys camping and travelling.
Grace O'Connell is based in the Supply Chain Sustainability School, using her research, data and technical skills to oversee the School's online knowledge library and multi-award winning training platform.
Grace O'Connell joined Action Sustainability in May 2022 as a Sustainability Content Co-ordinator. She is based in the Supply Chain Sustainability School, using her research, data and technical skills to oversee the School's online knowledge library and multi-award-winning training platform.
Before joining the team, Grace was an E-Learning Support Officer at the University of Manchester. Over these three years, she developed strong experience in the design, planning and delivery of high-quality and engaging digital learning content and resources. She has also developed specialised skills within various E-Learning software systems and LMS/CMS platforms.
Grace is also a Geography graduate from the University of Manchester, where she studied a variety of sustainability related modules and even undertook overseas fieldwork in Hong Kong, exploring the social value of green spaces within Kowloon!

As International Marketing & Communications Manager at Action Sustainability, Harriet leads strategy and creative campaigns for the Supply Chain Sustainability School across its global regions.
Hattie Webb joined Action Sustainability
's consultancy team in June 2023. She brings with her a wealth of experience in carbon reduction, net zero, sustainability advisory and engagement.
Hattie has spent the last few years embedding sustainability into corporate actions plans and delivering business sustainability training across all industries. She is highly skilled at converting the detailed and complex, to the simple and interesting, so everyone can feel empowered to take climate action.
As a theatre enthusiast, you will often find Hattie making the most of London's West End, and when she gets the chance, travelling further afield to explore new places.

Hilary is Head of Supply Chain Sustainability School, where she drives the School's growth and development.
Hilary leads the team, oversees all activities, and ensures the delivery of high-quality content and member engagement. With over 25 years of experience in project and event management within the public sector and commercial conference industry, Hilary brings extensive expertise to her role.
Outside of work, she enjoys long-distance running, constantly setting new challenges, and kayaking. One of her most memorable experiences was a three-day kayaking and wild camping adventure in the Norwegian Fjords.

Holly leads the Retrofit and Future Workforce streams at the Supply Chain Sustainability School.
In her role, Holly oversees the collaborative groups of partners, designs and implements business plans, and develops new content and events for these sectors. This involves leading the NatWest-sponsored retrofit programme and helping education providers nationwide benefit from industry-driven learning.
With a background in sustainability and green skills in further education, Holly was awarded the Green Gown in 2021 for her impactful work in enabling retrofit skills. Her expertise extends to sustainability in education and addressing skills gaps in the built environment. Holly holds a BA (Hons) in History and an MA in Global Development and Education, and has experience working in the third sector and teaching in Ecuador. Fluent in Spanish, Holly brings a rich international perspective to her work.
Outside of work, Holly can be found enjoying the great outdoors in Yorkshire, whether she's hiking or playing 5-a-side football. She also has a sweet spot for cake, which adds a delicious balance to her active lifestyle.

As co-founder of Action Sustainability, Ian is a distinguished leader in sustainable business, with a career spanning several decades.
Since 1991, Ian has successfully launched and managed multiple thriving skills and construction-related ventures. His extensive expertise in supply chain dynamics drives impactful initiatives in fairness, inclusion and respect, social value, and DfMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly).
Under Ian's leadership, Action Sustainability has become a leading authority in sustainable supply chain management, earning a Queen's Award for Sustainable Development in 2022.
His team specialises in working with clients eager to explore innovative solutions and achieve their sustainability goals, offering expert business advice, training, and practical tools that transform supply chains and drive meaningful sustainability outcomes.
Outside of work, Ian is an avid sports enthusiast, playing cricket in the summer and serving as Chairman of his local rugby club during the winter. He also coaches his local under-18 football team, dreaming of their rise through the north London leagues.

Jenny joined Action Sustainability in July 2021, coming into the business as a Project Coordinator, working across various projects within the Supply Chain Sustainability School.

Outside of work, Jenny enjoys going to gigs, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her two dogs.

Keagan is responsible for developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns for Action Sustainability and the Sustainability Tool.
Keagan joined Action Sustainability as a Digital Marketing Executive in the marketing team for Action Sustainability and the Sustainability tool. In this role, he is responsible for developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns. He manages the company's online presence, implements digital marketing strategies, and produces engaging content to build thought leadership.
Before joining Action Sustainability, Keagan worked in the marketing department for a Medical device company that specialised in Neonatology.
Born and raised in South Africa before moving to the UK, Keagan is passionate about most sports, with a particular interest in football, rugby and cricket.
Liban joined the Action Sustainability team in April 2022 as a Business Administration Apprentice, where he supports various projects in the Supply Chain Sustainability School and the Sustainability Tool.

Liv joined the Action Sustainability team in July 2021. Her role involves both the delivery of the Sustainability Tool and continual support for our clients.
Liv holds a Masters in Climate Change: Environment, Science and Policy from Kings College London, which fuelled her passion for working in the sustainability field. She has a love for research which led her to projects assessing current and future threats to urban and rural water quality, here in London and in Florida.
She previously worked as part of Lululemon's sustainability team where she looked at the lifecycles and impacts of materials, consumer engagement trends and strategies involved in reducing environmental impacts.
Liv also loves fitness, so much so that she is a qualified personal trainer.
Loraine is a Project/Sector Manager based in our Newcastle office and leads on developing and delivering the sustainability training programmes for National Highways and the Scotland Leadership Group.
She is an experienced project coordinator having previously led on environmental projects across the North East and building stakeholder engagement, events and wellbeing for a large country park. She has extensive experience in conferencing/event organisation and communications and stakeholder engagement roles in national charities and local authorities.
Loraine uses her engagement experience in a voluntary capacity for a Newcastle-based homeless charity. She is passionate about wellbeing in nature and teaches a weekly community yoga class. Outside of work, she is usually found outdoors as she loves kayaking and hillwalking, especially in the Scottish Highlands.

Lucy developed a keen interest in sustainability whilst studying anthropology at university and since graduating, has held previous roles working in events management and on diversity & inclusion projects.
Outside of work, she enjoys getting outdoors, eating nice food, and spending time with her cat and dog!
Lucy Picken joined Action Sustainability in May 2023 as a Consultant Researcher within the consultancy team, and focuses on sustainability strategy, and waste and resource use.

Lucy loves travelling and visiting new places and has a goal to visit every country in Europe, so in her spare time, she is always planning her next trip.

Lydia is our Head of Marketing, bringing over 12 years of experience in strategic marketing across sectors such as publishing, FMCG, and sustainability.
With over 12 years of expertise in strategic marketing, Lydia leads our global marketing initiatives. Her career spans multiple sectors, including publishing, FMCG, and sustainability, where she has consistently delivered results through innovative and sustainable marketing strategies.
A Chartered Institute of Marketing member, Lydia excels in driving business growth and customer engagement. Notably, she led Monster Energy's marketing across 26 international markets and spearheaded global artist campaigns at Ticketmaster, significantly boosting both ROI and fan engagement.
Beyond the office, Lydia's passion for travel recently took her to Japan and South Korea during cherry blossom season. She's also a live music enthusiast, having attended over 100 concerts and festivals, with Taylor Swift's Eras Tour at Wembley being a a standout recent highlight.
Lyndsey is the Collaboration Manager at the Supply Chain Sustainability School. Having worked closely with Action Sustainability for a number of years and being inspired by the School's impact on the sustainability of the built environment, Lyndsey joined the team full time in 2023.
She was previously the Co-owner and Director of The Projects Studio - an events and project management company based in Newcastle upon Tyne, with over 15 years project management experience.
Outside of work, Lyndsey has 2 small children to keep her on her toes, with a lot of time spent exploring the great outdoors and connecting with nature.

A sustainability professional for three decades, Mark Turner has worked with Action Sustainability since 2010, helping organisations of all types with strategic and practical sustainability support.

Mark has led the development of the Supply Chain Sustainability School's Facilities Management market area and continues to support this sector closely alongside other project work focused on the development of sustainable supply chains.
Mark holds a Postgraduate Certificate with Distinction in Sustainable Business from the University of Cambridge. He previously worked for Morgan Sindall, becoming Head of Sustainability for their Construction Division and producing their first sustainability report. Prior to this, he was Managing Director of a regional business support trading arm of Groundwork, a national sustainable development charity.
Mark's leisure time interests include a love of the great outdoors, especially all things ornithological, and a thankless long-term relationship with Blackpool Football Club.

Michael joined Action Sustainability as a Project Coordinator in the Delivery team for the Supply Chain Sustainability School, focusing on offsite, digital, operational excellence & Wales.
Michael joined Action Sustainability as a Project Coordinator in the Delivery team for the Supply Chain Sustainability School. In this role, he is responsible for setting up and arranging training sessions within Offsite, Digital, Operational Excellence & Wales, both for Partners and publicly.
Prior to joining the School, Michael worked internationally in Marketing & Event Coordinating, bridging connections between corporate entities and non-profit organisations to create social impact experiences.
Outside of work, Michael would describe himself as adventurous and multi-talented. Eating and travelling sum up his main interests and hobbies, but he also loves engaging in intense activities like scuba diving, competitive gaming, skydiving, and photography.

Muhammad is a Front-End Developer for the Sustainability Tool with a history bridging between businesses and developers.

His university years were spent studying Law at the University of Manchester where he graduated with a Masters in International Commercial Law. before delving into the tech industry.
Outside of work Muhammad enjoys travelling, Jujutsu and a strong cup of coffee.
With a diverse background spanning beauty, higher education, and project management, Nezer brings a dynamic and adaptable skill set to the FIR (Fairness, Inclusion, and Respect) team at AS. Before joining AS, Nezer spent six years as a self-employed beautician before transitioning into higher education, where she specialised in events and programme coordination. This experience sparked a passion for project management, ultimately leading to her role as a Project Coordinator at AS. In her current role, Nezer works closely with the FIR team to ensure projects remain profitable and successfully meet key deliverables. Her strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail help drive efficiency and impact across various initiatives. Outside of work, Nezer is an avid traveller and a true foodie, always on the lookout for new restaurants to try and new dishes to create. Nicole Fu is our Growth Marketing Manager dedicated to combating the climate crisis and fostering social impact. Working in sustainability since 2022, she was a Fellow at The Greenhouse and Zinc where she supported new businesses to bring their climate innovation technologies to fruition.
Previously, she held various roles in the tech and startup sectors, most recently as a Business Growth Manager at Huawei Mobile Services where she oversaw AI services across 12 countries, with a focus on user acquisition, monetisation, and retention. Prior to Huawei, Nicole worked as a marketing consultant, where she created and implemented successful marketing programs that achieved significant month-over-month growth in traffic and leads.
She was advisor to Climate Giving, an environmental charity for four years, and has qualified as a Climate Reality Leader, Terra.do Fellow and Climate Fresk Facilitator to better understand the breadth of challenges and the potential solutions available. She loves the great outdoors and enjoys everything from foraging and growing, to forestry skills, hiking and snowboarding.

Based in Dublin, Pam plays a vital role in driving the School's mission to foster a sustainable built environment through innovative education and collaboration. Pam's responsibilities cover partner management, event coordination, marketing, LMS support, networking, and resource management.
Before joining the Supply Chain Sustainability School, Pam worked with the Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development, and Innovation in British Columbia.
Originally from Vancouver, Pam has a profound appreciation for the outdoors. She loves walking, hiking, and camping, and is passionate about sharing the beauty of nature with her toddler.

Paul leads business development for the Supply Chain Sustainability School, concentrating on broadening its network of funding and strategic partners globally.
Paul's expertise in building and nurturing partnerships plays a crucial role in advancing the School's mission and expanding its impact in sustainable supply chain management. With extensive experience in bid writing and business development, Paul has a proven track record of launching and managing successful ventures. His recent entrepreneurial efforts involved growing a training and apprenticeship-focused business, which he sold before joining Action Sustainability.
In his spare time, Paul is a die-hard Liverpool Football Club fan, living for the thrill of every match and celebrating every victory as their biggest cheerleader.
Pete works in our software team supporting, developing and improving the School platform. With over ten years' experience working on Moodle, he has a good knowledge of the inner workings of the LMS.
Before joining us, Pete worked in software for twenty years after completing an MSc in Computing and Informatics. His experience includes website design, content management systems, e-commerce and databases as well as learning platforms.
Outside work, Pete volunteers with Woodland Trust, which gives him ample opportunity to test his frightening collection of axes, billhooks and saws.

Poppy is our Project Officer for the UK and Irish Supply Chain Sustainability School, working to organise and market various training events.
Poppy is our Project Coordinator for the UK and Irish Supply Chain Sustainability School. She is responsible for organising and marketing training events in these areas as well as supporting other projects within the School.
Poppy is an organised and task-orientated individual with a background in managing and coordinating events of all sizes and scales. With a BcS in Event Management, Poppy has the skills and knowledge to help deliver workshops and drive event registrations.
Rick joined Action Sustainability in July 2022 as a Senior Business Development Executive for the Supply Chain Sustainability School. He holds a MSc. in Environmental Science and Technology from Lancaster University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Rick's diverse career to date has taken him internationally working in Kosovo, Australia, China, and Switzerland, notably for the United Nations Environment Programme and as an Environmental Science and Biology Teacher in Guangzhou, China. Prior to joining Action Sustainability, Rick worked as a Policy Consultant performing various impact assessments to changes in the chemical and environmental landscape for the likes of the EU Commission and UK government.
Travel and sustainability are a key passion of Rick's which has allowed him to develop key incentives to reduce plastic pollution from tourism within Sri Lanka while working for a bespoke travel company.
A fun fact: Rick's research in China observing the effects of endocrine disrupting chemicals in the Pearl River Delta, South China led to a publication in the Environment International Journal.

Robyn Conway joined Action Sustainability in 2018 as Knowledge Manager for the multi award-winning Supply Chain Sustainability School. She manages the school's ever-growing library of learning resources.

Robyn is a qualified engineer and has over five years' experience in the construction sector, as a Utilities Works Planner for a large contractor. However, sustainability in construction has always been her strongest career interest.
When not working, Robyn enjoys travel and music, and outdoor activities such as hiking, horse-riding and cycling.
Rosie began working for Action Sustainability as a Business Administration apprentice in 2015. Since then, she has learnt and developed various skills which led to her to the role of Customer Account Manager for the School.

Rosie is responsible for providing support and guidance to our collaboration of over 200 Partners to ensure they get maximum value from the School.
Ross Primmer is a Senior Consultant with over a decade of experience working with a diverse range of private and public sector clients.
At Action Sustainability, Ross leads the development of e-learning modules, focusing on script writing, video, and imagery. Known for his creativity, he ensures that e-learning content is both engaging and informative. Before joining Action Sustainability, Ross worked on environmental and social impact assessments in the mining, oil and gas, and infrastructure sectors.
His clients include Siemens, Goodyear, NHS, Network Rail, and Historic England. Outside of work, Ross has built a bamboo bicycle for daily use and enjoys surfing trips to the West Country.

Saira holds the role of Conference & Outreach Officer within the Fairness, Inclusion & Respect team. Her focus involves reaching out across the built environment sector, managing conferences, and developing content. Saira specialises in Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) and her main interest lies in neurodiversity and disability.
This drive comes from her own experience with autism, dyslexia, and dyspraxia. Moreover, many of her friends and family members are also neurodivergent or disabled, motivating her to be an advocate for them and herself. However, Saira is also deeply committed to all of aspects of EDI and is a champion and ally for all diverse groups.
Throughout her life, Saira has consistently supported different causes, giving her time to volunteer work, and aiding her community. Presently, she is engaged in providing administrative support, session support and social media support for the National Autistic Society, working with young autistic people.

Sam is a Sustainability Consultant at Action Sustainability, specialising in sustainability strategy, social value, and environmental management systems.
With a background in environmental management and policy, Sam has collaborated with organisations such as IKEA and H&M on sustainability strategies, focusing on high-risk materials and electronic waste compliance with EU regulations.
At Action Sustainability, Sam helps clients develop and implement their sustainability strategies and works with clients to enhance the positive impact they have on communities. Additionally, Sam supports clients in measuring and managing sustainability performance using our Sustainability Tool and addresses challenges related to air quality and carbon emissions, particularly in plant and equipment. His diverse client portfolio includes King Industries, Barratt Homes, Siemens Mobility, HP, and others.
Outside of work, Sam is passionate about urban greenspace, enjoys beekeeping, hiking, and traveling, and maintains an extensive collection of indoor houseplants in his personal "indoor jungle."

Sara has a wealth of knowledge in organising and marketing events as she has worked within the events industry since 2013. She undertook a bachelor's degree in Business Management and was awarded a First Class Honours in 2014.
Sarah Chatfield BA(Hons) CIPS (Dip) is a consultant specialising in sustainable procurement who aims to ensure the work she produces will have a meaningful impact on communities and the environment.

Shaun is a distinguished leader in sustainable business, recognised with an OBE for his services to sustainability and the London 2012 Olympics.
Since leaving BAA PLC in 2006, Shaun has led significant initiatives, including chairing the Commission for a Sustainable London 2012, the world's first independent sustainability assurance body for a global sports event. He has been instrumental in developing key standards, such as the BS 8903 and ISO 20400 for sustainable procurement.
As the co-founder of Action Sustainability, Shaun has advised numerous clients and chairs the Supply Chain Sustainability School. He also founded the not-for-profit platform www.iso20400.org, advancing global knowledge in sustainable procurement.
Shaun's influence extends through his roles as Sustainability Advisor to Transport for London, non-executive advisor to Tarmac, and Trustee of the Greenshoots Foundation Trust. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (FIEMA) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS).

Sophie works in the award-winning Supply Chain Sustainability School as a Senior Partner Relations Manager. Sophie is also the Sector Manager for the Homes market, facilitating collaboration to enable a more sustainable homebuilding sector.
Prior to this role, Sophie was an Events and Marketing Officer at the School, with a focus on the Homes and Construction markets, and has over five years' experience coordinating events and digital marketing.
Sophie works in the award-winning Supply Chain Sustainability School as a Senior Partner Relations Manager. She is also Sector Manager for the Homes market in the School.

Stefania Chica-Jacome is a consultant, working on a variety of projects related to carbon, sustainability measurement and reporting.
Stefania Chica-Jacome joined the Action Sustainability team in 2020. She is a consultant working on a variety of projects related to carbon, sustainability measurement and reporting. She supports the delivery of the Climate Action group of the award-winning Supply Chain Sustainability School, a forum of organisations looking to reduce the carbon emissions from the built environment value chain in the UK.
Stefania also supports clients with the implementation of the Sustainability Tool and the Carbon Calculator which play a key role in the digitisation of sustainability reporting.
Her interest and passion in the field led her to complete a Master's in sustainable development and environmental economics at the University of Saint Andrews in Scotland, where she focused on renewable energy and the environment.
Originally from Ecuador, and currently based in Dubai, Stefania is a Spanish native speaker who loves the excitement of travelling to new places and discovering different cultures.

Vaishali brings over 14 years of global experience in procurement and transformation, having worked with Fortune 100 companies.
She specialises in embedding sustainability and social value into procurement processes and category management. Vaishali is completing a doctorate in sustainable procurement and was named a Top 100 Woman in Supply Chain in 2021.
In her role, Vaishali assists clients in integrating the social aspects of sustainability into their procurement strategies, aligning with international standards and ESG considerations. Her work encompasses developing policies, conducting ISO 20400 evaluations, and delivering workshops to ensure sustainability is embedded throughout procurement processes.
As the leader of the Social Value Group at the Supply Chain Sustainability School, Vaishali drives industry solutions and authors reports on social value and procurement.

In her downtime, she is almost always outdoors. A typical Canadian, she can usually be found skating on frozen ponds in the winter, hiking to waterfalls in the autumn and relaxing on the dock at her family cottage in the summer.
