David has over 25 years' experience working with Irish Technology companies. He holds a Business degree from Trinity College Dublin, as well as an M.Sc in Information Systems from the London School of Economics. David originally worked for five years as an Information Systems Consultant with AHC Systems , an IT Consultancy company owned at the time by Emydex's present Chairman, Tony Connolly. After a year working as a Strategic Projects Manager with Vodafone Ireland, David went on to work for eight years as General Manager of Labyrinth Ltd, Ireland's leading web development agency at the time, later acquired by BT
David joined Emydex Technology in 2009. He took over as Emydex CEO in 2010, when Emydex co-founder Redmond Burke retired. Since then David has overseen Emydex growth in company headcount to over 40 people, revenue growth of over 500% as well as the company's entry into new global markets including Africa, Australasia and North America.
Dr Norbert Engberg studied Mathematics and Economics in Hamburg. Before joining BAADER in 2019, he worked as a Managing Director in the food industry. He merged and reorganised companies, built up sales structures and implemented brands. Furthermore, he focused on efficiency and innovation in production. Being responsible for food processing teaches many perspectives. Dr Norbert Engberg has now found his passion in bringing his knowledge to solution development at BAADER.

James has over 20 years' experience in designing and implementing software solutions for food processing companies in Ireland and the UK. He holds an Electronic Engineering degree from Trinity College Dublin, where he specialised in Process Control Engineering as well as Computer Science.
James joined Scanvaegt Ireland (now Marel) in 1993 where he worked as a software engineer and systems architect for over 7 years, designing and implementing software systems for food processing companies. He later worked with Case New Holland (CNH) for 4 years as the lead software developer on an Advanced Production Scheduling system. Spotting a gap in the marketplace, James with Redmond Burke established Emydex in 2004, building a brand new software platform specifically designed for the meat, fish and food processing industries.
As Emydex Technical Director, James Grennan has technical oversight over a large team of experienced software developers, the bulk of whom have over 10 year's relevant software programming experience in the Food Processing industry.

Lead by Lorna Daly. Lorna manages five separate programming teams that work on the implementation of our core platform and modules for specific customer implementations. These teams will work to customise Emydex as per the specific business practices of our customers. They will integrate Emydex with our customer's financial/ERP systems, link into factory floor hardware devices (new or existing), integrate to suppliers, customers or even 3rd party Government web services etc.
Lorna joined Emydex in October 2011. She has over 5 years previous experience in Computer Services, having previously worked for IBM. Lorna obtained a Bsc in Business Computing from Athlone IT.
Luis Méndez López joined the Emydex Support Team as a Software Development Intern. Originally from Ribadeo in Spain, Luis has been living in Ireland since 2006.
He has previous support experience at HP and Ocuco, along with development and project management experience.
Luis holds a degree in Computer Science and a Masters in Project Management in Spain.
He is currently completing a Higher Diploma in Software Development at Dublin Business School.
