This is how it works - Graphics and the various component libraries take a very long time to design and compile, thousands of hours, and BMS Engineers and their companies don't want to outlay large lump sums of money. They greatly desire the professional graphics libraries as generally their own are hastily assembled and very little time given to development. Most Engineers only have to hand a few hundred components if that, but what if they were to have thousands! Also what if they had hundreds of pre-designed pages to work with, what would be the value to the company then? What would be the price they were prepared to pay? Would it be 10000, 1000's, 100's? What do you charge for a complete, installed, commissioned BMS Schematic Page? It would generally range from £55-£200( 65- 235,$70-$260) for a plant page and £250+( 295,$325) for a floor plan. "What's the payback period?", is the normal line of inquiry. People would say "that could take a year or two". They would be thinking..
