SIDDINGTON - Key Persons

Claire Ladwa

Job Titles:
  • Chairman of Governors

Miss B Smith

I started at Siddington C of E Primary School in September 2021 and teach Key Stage One. I have had lots of experience working with this age group and I love the enthusiasm displayed by these little learners. I feel it is a privilege that I am responsible for educating the future generation; it is very important to me that children develop a thirst for knowledge and enjoy their learning. I gain great satisfaction from teaching motivating lessons that enable children to reach their full potential. In my own time I love exploring the great outdoors especially with my two dogs Millie and Nala. Alongside my creative interest in interior design and up-cycling of furniture, I enjoy travelling as it allows me to explore and experience different cultures. Growing up, I learnt to play the clarinet and piano which contributed to my love of and interest in music. I enjoy listening to a range of genres and take pleasure in watching live music; I enjoy sports activities and exercise regularly. I am very excited to be joining the Siddington team!

Miss Louise Lennox

Job Titles:
  • Headteacher
I moved to Stroud in 2017, where I now live with my partner and our son. Before living here, I have always lived in London. I spent my young twenties living on a narrow boat in East London. I feel at home outdoors, which is why I love camping. I enjoyed going to exhibitions at galleries and watching plays and ballets at theatres. My favourite pastime was walking along the river Thames and soaking up the culture of the city. Now I enjoy a quieter life living in the countryside: swimming, walking, cooking, reading and spending time in the woods with my son. We are both keen nature lovers and twitchers! I have always travelled. As a child, we travelled in the UK and the rest of Europe in a motorcaravan. Now, we get away as often as we can. I started my journey in education as a Learning Support Assistant with three children with special education needs. I enjoyed the job so much that I decided I wanted to go back to education to learn how to be a teacher. I studied at the UEL and then Institute of Education where I qualified as a primary school teacher. I taught in three schools in London before deciding to move to the Cotswolds.

Miss M Smith

I am so excited to be joining Siddington C of E Primary School as the new Early years class teacher in September 2020! I began my career working in a Pre-school, first as a Childcare assistant and then as a Key worker for my own group of key children. I left Early years to begin my 3-year Teacher Training degree in 2017 at the University of Gloucestershire. In my spare time I love reading, Yoga, travelling and spending time with my family and friends. I am very keen to meet the new reception children and will ensure they feel comfortable, happy and at home in the classroom. I am also excited to form relationships with all the lovely parents that may or may not be new to the school.

Miss P Jessop

Since I was at primary school myself, I have always wanted to become a teacher! I graduated from Oxford Brookes University as a fully qualified teacher in 2017. Since then, I have created many wonderful and happy teaching memories and I thoroughly enjoy working with children. My favourite subjects to teach are English and Art. When I am not teaching, I love to keep myself active! I enjoy running (I hope that I can make great use of the running track at school with the children), walking, swimming and yoga. I am extremely excited to join Siddington Primary School and look forward to getting to know the staff, children and parents!

Mrs K Jarvis

I am really excited to be part of the Siddington Team. I have been a teacher for nearly 15 years and I love how different everyday can be. My favourite subjects to teach are reading and writing and I am really looking forward to sharing books with the Siddington community. I also love being outdoors, and I feel so lucky to be working in a school with such a beautiful outside space. The first week in Owls class has been full of learning adventures and I can't wait to get to know the rest of the school.
