ST NICOLAS PRE-SCHOOL & PLAYGROUP

St. Nicolas Pre-school is an independent, charity-run preschool and is in partnership with St. Nicolas School Foundation Stage. This is run by a Joint Steering Group which has a parent from each setting among its representatives. This partnership gives our children an opportunity to experience a school environment through our weekly singing sessions in Reception classes, transition visits and our good working relationships with the Headmaster and Reception staff. Our close links encourage a smooth transition into school life... St Nicolas Preschool is a registered Charity and is overseen by a volunteer parent Committee. We have been running since 1981 and we pride ourselves in the excellent level of care, learning and development that we offer to the early years community. Our caring team of staff have full and relevant qualifications in Early Years, and Continued Professional Development is a priority for our staff, including safeguarding.
