Dr. Vickie Howell, aka Vickie Vet, graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. Dr. Vickie opened her veterinary practice in 1984, For both large and small animal medicine and surgery. She limited her practice to small animal medicine and surgery in 1990. She is a member of AVMA, TVMA, KVMA, and a American Red Cross volunteer.
Dr. Vickie's hobbies are gardening, canning, basket weaving, and making stain glass. She also enjoys traveling when her schedule allows. She also takes her role as "MiMi" to her Great Nephew and Niece Jonah and Aidan and her Foster Grandchildren Enoch and Emerson as being the greatest accomplishment of her life.
It has certainly been quite an experience watching the clinic grow and change over the years. She enjoys practicing veterinary medicine and surgery, especially with a dedicated and caring team who are always looking to improve their clinical knowledge and skills

Dr. Lawrence E. "Larry" Dawson, a native of East Tennessee, He joined the animal care team at Vet Care Animal Hospital in Greeneville in 2013, specializing in small animal medicine and surgery.
Dr. Dawson acquired his undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University. He obtained a Master of Science degree from the Florida Institute of Technology and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University.
Dr. Dawson is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the TN Veterinary Medical Association, and the local Five Rivers Veterinary Academy, having served as past President.
Dr. Dawson also served our nation for over 20 years in worldwide assignments with the United States Army, and since retiring from the military has been providing his services as a relief veterinarian throughout East Tennessee from Knoxville to the Tri Cities area. Having been a military test pilot, Dr. Dawson enjoys flying, traveling, cruising on his motorcycle, and a range of outdoor activities in his spare time.
