In 2007, Alex joined WFS Consulting (now Wingate Benefit Solutions) in an administrative role. The business was restructured in 2008 with the launch of Wingate Financial Planning (WFP) where Alex now works.
Alex initially worked on a part time basis and progressed with experience and knowledge to extend her role and hours. Alex now provides dedicated support to Ian Warrilow.
Alex's background is in banking, having worked for Lloyds TSB for 13 years, before leaving to start a family.
Alex lives in Surrey with her two children. Her interests include reading, history, travelling and spending time with her family and friends.

Alistair was one of the founding directors of Wingate Financial Planning, having initially joined Wingate's sister company, Wingate Benefit Solutions, in 2005. He specialises in handling more complex client circumstances and cases.
With a focus on owner managed businesses, this has naturally led to expertise in pensions and Alistair gets involved other more involved retirement planning and pension matters, including divorce.
Alistair is a member of the Wingate Investment Committee and is a designated "investment manager" with responsibility for running the firm's discretionary managed portfolios.
Alistair is a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, as well as a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners and the Chartered Institute of Taxation. His expert opinions on current issues, especially those related to retirement, investment, and tax planning, are frequently sought after by the trade and retail press.

With over 16 years experience working in the Financial Services industry, Anita recently joined Wingate Financial Planning as a Client Relationship Executive.
Anita is married, lives locally with her husband and has a grown-up daughter. In her spare time, she loves listening to all different types of music, cooking, reading, trying her hand at gardening and spending time with her family.
Ashley graduated from the University of Greenwich in 2006 with a degree in Business Administration. Since then he has worked in various roles in financial services covering sales, client support and compliance functions.
Ashley joined Wingate Financial Planning in May 2017 initially providing support to Alistair Cunningham and then to Matthew Bond. He moved into a Paraplanning role in October 2019, and has now successfully achieved his Diploma in Financial Planning and is working to eventually achieve Chartered status.
Ashley lives in Redhill and enjoys most sports, in particular Rugby, Football and Cricket, going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.

Ben is the Managing Director of Wingate Benefit Solutions and Wingate Financial Planning and has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry.
Ben started his career in the general insurance sector with the majority of this experience with a large independent insurance broker where he was Commercial Director.
In July 2002 he co-founded Wingate Financial Solutions Ltd with Paul Weeks which is now Wingate Benefit Solutions. Ben's responsibilities are to ensure we deliver the promises we make to our clients and to achieve sustainable and profitable growth through leadership and strategic development.
Ben is married and lives in East Grinstead with his wife and two sons. His spare time is spent with his family, playing golf and watching football.

She has worked in financial services since 2000, specialising in Employee Benefits over the past 8 years.
Clare joined Wingate in 2003 after spending 2 years at an Insurance Company and then holding various roles within a firm of Financial Advisers.
Clare has recently moved into a new role as Business Support Manager. She has overall responsibility for the Employee Benefits Team and the support teams working with the advisers across the Wingate Group.
Clare lives in Surrey with her husband and two children and enjoys socialising with friends and family.

I have worked for a retail bank for a majority of my working career and have only just started working with Wingate the last few months in the Head Office Team and am loving it so far.
I have recently moved to the West Wickham area with my husband and 3 children after renovating our family home.
Having successfully passed his A Levels in History, Economics and Maths this year, Harry made the decision not to go to University but was successful in securing a role at Wingate in the Private Client Support Team in early September. Harry will soon start studying towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and working towards his aspiration of becoming a Financial Adviser in the future.
Harry enjoys watching and playing football, going to the gym and going on hiking expeditions in his spare time.

Heather joined the business in May 2003 as PA to Ben Clarke and helps Ben and the Directors in supporting all elements of the business management, strategy and ongoing development.
Heather has financial experience having previously worked in the investment banking and private client sector for two major investment banks in the City.
Heather lives locally in Whyteleafe, Surrey and enjoys spending her spare time with her family and friends.
I have spent many years in Financial Services, both working for providers and advisers, although I did have an ‘off piste' moment some years ago when I worked in Harrods ordering bedlinen and towels!
When not in the office I am out and about with friends (which usually involves eating and drinking) and if not doing that, I am probably moaning about the dire performance of Everton FC!
Joanne has worked in a finance and accounting environment since 1984 with her most recent role being in Payroll

Kevin is a former proprietor of Francis Townsend & Hayward (Financial Services) Ltd. He joined Wingate Financial Planning in July 2012 after the acquisition by the Wingate Group of Companies, thus creating a leading IFA in South London & Surrey.
Kevin has been in the financial services industry since graduating in Business Administration from Cardiff University in 1986. Kevin is also a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Marketing, holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and is a member of the Personal Finance Society, the UK's professional body for financial advisers. This represents his commitment to high standards in knowledge, professional development and ethical behaviour.
Kevin advises a broad range of clients with a strong focus on those individuals approaching and in their retirement years. As such this covers a wide range of inter-related issues such as pensions, investments and Inheritance Tax planning.
When he is not working Kevin enjoys walking in the New Forest, running and most sports. Having ‘retired' from playing football he now plays golf (badly) and has run marathons in London and New York..

Lorraine worked at HSBC within the banking and financial services sector since 1978. Her role involved assisting the advisers by dealing with queries, processing applications, booking and preparing documentation for annual reviews, occasionally attending client meetings with the advisers.
Lorraine joined Wingate Financial Planning in June 2014, and has looked forward to building on her extensive experience.
Married with two boys, she also has four dogs. Lorraine lives in Beckenham, and her hobbies include walking the dogs, soft furnishings, baking, and keeping fit.
Luke is a qualified adviser and is a member of the Personal Finance Society and Chartered Institute of Insurance, this demonstrates his commitment to the highest professional standards and codes of conduct.
Joining our team in October 2024, Luke began his career in the financial services industry in 2019 as an administrator and became a qualified adviser in 2021. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and a Master's degree in International Security from the University of East Anglia. Luke specialises in helping clients approaching retirement, finding great fulfilment in the positive impact he can make on a key life event.
Having grown up in Bromley, Luke now lives in Tunbridge Wells enjoying the perfect blend of countryside and town life. Luke is a big Chelsea fan and regularly attends matches at Stamford Bridge with his family. When not at the game, he enjoys playing various sports throughout the week which can lead to him being found anywhere from the 5-A-Side football pitch to the trees of local golf courses.

Matthew joined us in March 2016 and has over 20 years experience within the financial services industry, working for both product providers and adviser firms. Matthew deals with a broad range of clients, with a focus on later life planning, this being on and at retirement. Matthew is also one of our long term care specialists and is SOLLA accredited which further demonstrates his commitment to this market.
Matthew lives in South Croydon and enjoys spending time with his two children and spends most of his time running them around! He enjoys watching football and is a season ticket holder at Crystal Palace. He can also be seen fairly regularly running the pavements of South Croydon!

Mohamad holds the Chartered status (APFS) in Financial Planning. He is a member of the Personal Finance Society, the UK's professional body for financial advisers. He started working in the financial industry since 2007.
Mohamad joined Wingate Financial Planning in February 2014 as a ‘Paraplanner and Investment Manager' to support both clients and Independent Financial Advisers in order to provide an excellent client experience. Being a Team Leader, Mohamad manages the Paraplanning team at Wingate Financial Planning.
The Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) awarded Mohamad with the 2016 Technical Award. This highly prestigious award recognises the paraplanner who achieved the highest mark on the technical element of the assessment process for the CISI Paraplanner of the Year.
In 2018, Mohamad was awarded Professional Adviser's "Paraplanner of the Year" accolade.
Mohamad lives in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey with his family. His hobbies include drawing and travelling.

Paul joined Wingate in November 2024 having spent over 32 years working in financial services industry. An Independent Financial Adviser since 1998 Paul provides wealth management and holistic financial planning advice to a broad range of clients.
Paul lives in South Croydon with his wife, children and two Golden Labradors. Outside of work he enjoys most sports (mainly watching these days), spending time with his family, walking his dogs and following Crystal Palace FC.
Paul holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and is a member of the Personal Finance Society, the UK's professional body for financial advisers.
He joined Duncan Pocock (Insurance Brokers) Ltd, the business from which Wingate was formed, from a large UK insurer in 1997 as a Senior Financial Adviser. In July 2002 with Ben Clarke he co-founded Wingate Financial Solutions Ltd, which became WFS Consulting Ltd and is now the Wingate Benefit Solutions and Wingate Financial Planning businesses of today.
Having provided financial advice to corporate and individual clients for over 15 years, he moved into his current role within the Wingate Group where along with Ben, he is responsible for ensuring we deliver the promises we make to our clients and to achieve sustainable and long term growth through leadership and strategic development.
Paul spends most of his spare time with his grandsons and Kobi, the family's German Shepherd.

Rebecca graduated from the University of Essex in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Media. Rebecca then took up a position in Towergate as an Insurance Broker, specialising in Liability and Professional Indemnity products.
In June 2022 Rebecca moved over to the Head Office Team to work on a part time basis which has enabled Rebecca to spend more time with her young family. Rebecca is now working as an Head Office Assistant assisting all her colleagues within the Head Office team but primarily assisting with finance and office facility work.
Rebecca started working for Wingate in November 2018 as an Administrative Assistant and she is looking forward to learning more about the business and enhancing her qualifications within the Financial Services sector.
Rebecca got married in 2019 and currently lives in Caterham with her husband, Phil. At the weekends Rebecca enjoys socialising with friends and family, live music and reading.
Rhianna worked in the hospitality sector for six years, where she worked her way up to a management role. Rhianna joined the financial services sector in November 2018, joining Wingate as a Trainee Paraplanner for a fresh challenge.
Rhianna enjoys spending time with friends and family, travelling, musicals and playing football. You can find Rhianna at the weekend being walked by her two Huskies.

Robert has worked in the financial industry since 1990 and during this time he has worked for Liverpool Victoria and Aviva.
He has worked across many areas within these organisation's and brings a wealth of experience. Robert joined the Wingate group in 2013 where he will support both clients and the advisers in order to provide an excellent service.
Robert lives in Caterham with his family and Labrador dog and in his spare time enjoys walking, golf, fishing, reading and time with his family.

Simon joined Wingate in January 2018, having built a career in Financial Advice with leading global institutions based in Central London. He specialises in investment advice and working with clients who want to build a roadmap for their personal retirement. He helps his clients build a vision for their futures across a number of complex inter-related areas including pensions, investments, protection and all aspects of Inheritance Tax Planning.
Living in West End Surrey, with his wife and two young children, Simon has been involved in numerous charity projects including being firework marshal at the Kingston upon Thames firework display, fundraising with the Christmas Carol Wagon and is a member of the Wingate Foundation committee, responsible for allocating funding to local charities and good causes. When time allows, he does still pull on his boots and score the odd goal and is Chairman of an 11 a-side football club started in Kingston upon Thames. Originally heralding from Cornwall, Simon regularly enjoys visiting the South West as well as Pembrokeshire in Wales where he also has family.
