Mark's successful career saw him spend 8 years as a manager at CarpetRight, before going on to run a successful United Carpets franchise for a further 6 years. He then went on to open The Carpet Shop in Formby, offering a wide range of carpets and flooring.
After the success of the Formby branch, The Carpet Shop expanded with an Ainsdale branch a year later. In 2014 Mark decided to take over the building at The Mews and the two Carpet Shop branches were consolidated to create The Carpet Shop @ The Mews.
Mark has always ensured that care and attention to detail, alongside the highest level of customer service is prioritised in store, which is why we have become known as the place to come for flooring in Southport.
As well as excellent customer service, The Carpet Shop @ the Mews offers a free measuring service and a top-quality fitting service for our wide range of carpets, vinyl, laminate, LVT and solid wood flooring.
