Dr. Thomas W. Taylor is Superintendent of Stafford County Public Schools, where he oversees 33 schools in Virginia's eighth largest school district, serving more than 31,000 students and more than 4,300 employees. Stafford County Public Schools is a high-performing, majority-minority school district, where nearly half of the students participate in the federal free lunch program.
Dr. Taylor is a Washington, D.C. native and has served as a social studies teacher, coach, and leader in several Virginia school districts over the last 25+ years. Prior to his service in Stafford, Dr. Taylor was the Deputy Superintendent in Chesterfield County, the Region III Superintendent of the Year (2016) in Middlesex County, and UVA's Alumni Outstanding Principal (2012) in Charlottesville City.
In addition to his service as Superintendent of Stafford Schools, Dr. Taylor also serves as one of Virginia's Commissioners on the Education Commission of the States. In addition to numerous other community boards, Dr. Taylor also serves on the College Board's Superintendent Advisory Council, is a co-lead for the National STEM Consortium, and Chair of the Virginia Wesleyan University Alumni Council.
Dr. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts from Virginia Wesleyan University, a Master's in Educational Leadership and a Doctorate in PK-12 Education Policy from the University of Virginia, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the College of William & Mary. He and his wife, Sue, are the proud parents of five children.

Mr. Brian M. Fitzgerald was named Assistant Principal of Mountain View High School in June of 2023. He began his teaching career in Prince William County as a Special Education teacher in 2002. Mr. Fitzgerald earned his Bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech and his post-Master's degree certificate in Administration and Supervision from Virginia Commonwealth University. This summer he completed his doctoral program in Educational Leadership. He has three children, two of which have graduated from Stafford County Public Schools, and one that is beginning his high school career.

Mr. Margheim attended Virginia Tech and graduated with a Bachelor of Science. He played baseball for Virginia Tech and continued to play in the Cincinnati Reds Organization. Mr. Margheim coached baseball at Virginia Tech for three years and at George Washington University for one year. He received his Master's of Science Degree in Education from George Mason University. Mr. Margheim coached baseball and taught at Woodbridge High School for four years and served as the Activities Director for five years before opening up Freedom High School in Prince William County. He became the Assistant Principal for Athletics and Activities at Brooke Point High School in January 2005.

Mr. Gordon has served as a social studies teacher, where he served as a grade level team lead, 504 designee, mentor teacher, and club sponsor. Prior to joining Stafford, Mr. Gordon was the International Baccalaureate and site testing coordinator for James Monroe High School in Fredericksburg after serving as an IB and AP Spanish teacher at the school for eight years. Mr. Gordon's first teaching role was as a middle school Spanish teacher in Iowa, which he began after serving in the United States Army for eight years.
Mr. Gordon lives in Fredericksburg with his wife Kim, two daughters, Tierney and Brenna, and his dog Angus. In his free time, he likes to workout, scuba dive, surf, and climb.

As a Teacher and an Educational Leader, Ashley Dwyer has served as a Special Education teacher, who taught secondary English 9-12 for the last 15 years at Stafford High School. She has also served as a diagnostician and a designee to ensure special education students received appropriate services to support their growth. She also worked as a 504 coordinator to support general education students in developing curriculum and instructional strategies that develop lesson plans to create a learning environment conducive for students with 504s and IEPs at the high school level. At Stafford High, she also oversaw the High Riser program for rising freshman to support a successful start to high school, and helped with the launch of Restorative Justice Program at the school to support stronger connections among students and staff. She has worked with collaborative PLC learning teams to increase student achievement in secondary English. She has served on various committees such as: National Honor Society, Literacy Committee, ESOL textbook committee and District Leadership Team.
Mrs. Jennifer Russ is the Administrative Assistant working with Mr. Fitzgerald and he is the supervisor of the Mathematics Department, Social Studies Department, Focus Program, and AP.

Mrs. Clements was named Assistant Principal of Mountain View High School in February 2021. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a Master's in Educational Leadership from University of Mary Washington.
Mrs. Clements began her career as a Special Education teacher at King George High School. She taught the next twenty five years as a Special Education and Biology teacher for Spotsylvania County Public School before coming to Stafford as an Assistant Principal.

Mrs. Sullivan was named Principal of Mountain View High School in May of 2022. Mrs. Sullivan earned her Bachelor's degree in Education and specialized in Math and English from Ohio University and her Master's degree from George Mason University in Educational Leadership.
Mrs. Sullivan began her career as a middle school math teacher at Dixon Smith Middle School in 2010. She was appointed Assistant Principal at Rodney Thompson Middle School in 2015 and then moved on to serve the Mountain View Community as an Assistant Principal in 2019.

Ms. Amy Ivory will return to Edward E. Drew, Jr. Middle School, where she previously served as Assistant Principal for six years. Currently, Ms. Ivory serves as Assistant Principal at Stafford High School, a role she has held since 2016. Prior to entering administration, Ms. Ivory taught math and language arts at the middle school level in both Stafford as well as Spotsylvania County Schools for 13 years, and has regularly been turned to by administrators as an instructional model for teachers at the middle school level.
As Assistant Principal at both Drew Middle and Stafford High School, Ms. Ivory served as a Special Education designee to ensure special education students received appropriate services to support their growth. At Stafford High, she also oversaw the High Riser program for rising freshman to support a successful start to high school, and helped to launch the Jostens Renaissance program at the school to support stronger connections among students and staff.

Ms. Jessica Sigler has moved into the Assistant Principal role at Mountain View High School, where she has taught Special Education for the last 14 years. Since 2011, Ms. Sigler has served as the Special Education department chair, where she supported peer learning, legal compliance, and coordination between special educators and their general education peers. Prior to joining Team Stafford, Ms. Sigler was a special educator in Prince William County Public Schools for eight years.
