Allen P. Butler

Job Titles:

Dr. Butler received his undergraduate degree from Emory University in 1993. He then went on to the Medical College of Georgia, where he obtained his doctorate of medicine in 1998, and subsequently, completed his residency in Otolaryngology in 2003. Dr. Butler has been in private practice since 2003. Within his practice, he has special interest in general pediatrics, nasal/sinus disorders and sleep apnea. He is married to Dr. Heather D. Butler, a local pediatrician, and they have three children. His outside interests include the Christian faith, his family and medical mission efforts.

Amy R. Britt

Job Titles:

Amy R. Britt, M.Ed., CCC-A, joined Northeast Georgia ENT in January of 2013. Mrs. Britt received her undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology in 1993 from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She received her Masters of Education in Audiology in 1995 from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. After receiving her Masters Degree, she has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including private practice ENT offices, medical hospital settings, and the VA hospital in Nashville, TN. While in these settings, she has gained valuable experience working with children and adults for services including diagnostics, hearing aids, vestibular and balance testing, and hearing conservation. While at the Nashville VA hospital, she also worked as a research audiologist monitoring the effects of chemotherapy medications on the hearing of veterans with certain types of cancer. Mrs. Britt is licensed to practice in the state of Georgia, a certified member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association, and a member of the American Academy of Audiology as well as the Georgia Academy of Audiology. While not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children through a variety of outdoor activities and is an active member of her church.

Brennan P. Wood

Dr. Wood received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his surgical internship and his residency in Otolaryngology at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Wood is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Wood has been in private practice since 2005. His top priority is to place God first in his life followed by family and career. Dr. Wood's special areas of interest include: nasal and sinus disorders, pediatric otolaryngology as well as general otolaryngology for patients of all ages.

Crystal Gay

Job Titles:
  • Physician Assistant
Crystal is a Board Certified Physician Assistant who joined our practice in 2022. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. Her Physician Assistant degree was obtained at Medical College of Georgia. Crystal has been practicing since 1998. Crystal and her husband Matt live in the Suwanee area where he owns his own business, Matthew Gay Appraisal Service. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their 2 boys. She also enjoys traveling and kayaking. Crystal looks forward to serving our patients in the Braselton location.

Mary Byrd

Mary Byrd, AuD, CCC-A joined the practice in June 2019. She received her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Georgia in 2015 and her Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree from the Northeast Ohio AuD Consortium in 2019. She has experience in a variety of settings and enjoys providing comprehensive hearing evaluations, hearing aid services, and balance assessment to our patients. Mary is licensed to practice audiology in Georgia and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Mary enjoys working in ENT because she loves to help patients of all ages and stages of life with their hearing and balance concerns. In her spare time, Mary enjoys spending time with her dog, Stanley, and exploring beautiful Northeast Georgia.

Michael H. Callahan

Dr. Callahan is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist who has been providing Ear, Nose and Throat care to the Northeast Georgia Community since 2001. He graduated from Gainesville High School and then received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. His M.D. was obtained and his Otolaryngology residency was completed at the Medical College of Georgia. His interests are in general pediatric otolaryngology and adult nasal and sinus disorders. He is a member of the Hall County Medical Society and plays an active role in shaping the future of medicine at the local and state level always trying to preserve the patient-physician relationship.

Robert "Mike" Baskin

Dr. Baskin received his undergraduate education from Wake Forest University. After earning his medical degree at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine he proceeded to surgical internship at Mercer University. From there he traveled to the University of Florida where he completed residency training in otolaryngology. His interests include nasal and sinus pathology, pediatric otolaryngology, head and neck cancer, hearing disorders, as well as other problems within the field of general otolaryngology. Outside of the office he enjoys water sports, college football, reading and photography.

Scot M. Stewart

Dr. Stewart is a native Georgian who attended The Marist School then pursed a Business Degree at Furman University where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. After obtaining his undergraduate degree, he immediately continued his education at the Medical College of Georgia where he served as class president during his final two years. He completed his residency training in Otolaryngology at Medical College of Georgia and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society as an intern. Dr. Stewart joined Northeast Georgia ENT over 10 years ago and is eternally grateful to Doctors Durisch, Brown, Zoercher and Farmer for the opportunity. His particular areas of ENT interest are pediatrics, otology and rhinology. He believes most problems can be resolved by following the KISS rule and adheres to that paradigm in his daily practice. He is married to Cathryn Finch, MD and is the father of 3 beautiful children. His outside interests include snow skiing, mountain biking, fly fishing and whatever activity or sport his children are involved in at the moment.
