Amy Beley

Ms. Beley has presented at multiple conferences and events across the country and consulted with programs designing contractor account services. She serves on the board of the Building Performance Association.

Anthony Albano

As Program Manager for Pearl Certification's Public-Private Partnerships Division, Anthony works closely with state governments and local stakeholders to drive demand for high-performing homes through the increased adoption of residential energy efficiency. Prior to joining Pearl, Anthony worked at Touchstone IQ, where he helped state and local governments implement and manage their commercial building benchmarking programs. He also worked as a strategic technical consultant at The Cadmus Group. In this role he supported a wide range of clients, including the Department of Energy (DOE), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), and The Nature Conservancy. Anthony lives in Colorado and enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and backpacking in the Rocky Mountains with his fiancé and their Wooly Husky. "I've focused my career on protecting the natural environment, helping people save energy, and reducing carbon emissions. April Jacobs

April brings her diverse background in real estate, marketing, and entertainment to the job of Executive Assistant to CEO Cynthia Adams. A true people person and collaborator, April helps to keep the wheels on the Pearl bus (a clean emissions bus of course) at all times. Born and raised in New York, April began her career braving the wilds of the Los Angeles entertainment industry as an assistant to the top talent agents in the business. The show Entourage pretty much sums up the experience. After meeting her husband Josh and having their daughter Lola, the family moved to Atlanta, where April took her skills to the real estate industry. But the mountains were calling and the family now calls Boulder, Colorado home. In her spare time April likes to hike, yell at sporting events, explore the Boulder food scene and then hike again to work off said food.

Ashley Rummage

As Membership Manager, Ashley serves as a resource to real estate professionals to help them incorporate energy-efficiency knowledge and high-performing home advice into their day-to-day client interactions, thus creating opportunities for new business. She provides support to the Pearl Real Estate Network through education offerings, marketing strategies and materials, and serving as the primary contact for brokers/brokerages. Prior to joining Pearl, Ashley helped buyers and sellers with their housing goals as a residential Realtor in Raleigh, NC. She also participates in her local Realtors association to provide professional development opportunities to area members. Ashley graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Interior Design, heavily focusing on sustainability, which sparked her love for building science. Ashley holds various professional designations, including NAR Green, LFA (Living Future Accreditation), and LEED General Associate. When not talking real estate, Ashley can be found visiting the NC coast with her family, exploring Raleigh's music scene, going to football games, or attempting to garden.

Ben Bunker

Before joining Pearl, Ben worked at EnergyHub on both the Sales and Client Success teams. There, he helped electric and gas utilities launch and scale distributed energy resource demand response programs leveraging EnergyHub's DERMS platform. Prior to EnergyHub, Ben served as the executive director of the Global BrightLight Foundation, an international NGO with a mission to provide solar energy to remote communities without access to electricity. Ben began his career at ICF International supporting the EPA ENERGY STAR residential programs. Ben lives in Colorado with his wife and enjoys spending time outdoors and pursuing his passion for photography and travel. "I've dedicated my career to protecting the environment. Pearl's approach to transforming the market for high-performing homes is creating a more sustainable future. Benjy Wilson

Benjy joins Pearl to help expand and improve partnership strategies with Pearl's wider network of national contractors. Prior to his time at Pearl, Benjy served as the U.S. Head of Social Video for the Daily Mail and MailOnline brands managing an international team of journalists working on pages receiving billions of views each month. Following his time in the newsroom, he moved further into the commercial space at Newsflare, a UGC news agency, as its U.S. Customer Success Manager. There, he aided clients in making the greatest impact with their third-party platform video strategies. Benjy is currently studying for an undergraduate degree in environmental studies at The Open University and expects to graduate in the summer of 2025. In addition to his love of nature and journalism, he plays the saxophone, engages in agility training with his dog Pumpkin, and strives to complete hikes in all 50 states.

Brenna Mahn

Brenna graduated with honors from Calvin College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art and Chinese. She's currently pursuing a Master of Science in Software Development at Boston University. She resides in New Orleans with her cat, Mima, and finds joy in long-distance running, creating art, and volunteering.

Caprice Johnson

Before joining Pearl, Caprice served as the Marketing Manager for an architectural lighting design firm, where she received an in-depth look into the process of designing and building residential spaces. Caprice is based in Queens, New York, where she was born and raised (and unfortunately, became a Mets fan). She believes firmly that clear communication is an important tool in solving any problem and carries this belief in her work to deliver Pearl's message through marketing. Caprice has a B.A. in Marketing and Public Relations from CUNY City College of New York. In her free time, she enjoys photographing pretty buildings and "playing" tennis. "Pearl draws a clear line from home value to home efficiency and comfort. I'm excited to help real estate agents maximize Pearl's value as they do the same for homeowners."

Casey Murphy

Casey is Pearl's Senior Vice President of Quality and Standards. Prior to joining Pearl, Casey worked at ICF as a Senior Technical Manager, primarily supporting U.S. EPA's voluntary programs, such as Home Performance with ENERGY STAR (HPwES), ENERGY STAR Certified Homes (ESCH), ENERGY STAR Verified HVAC Installation (ESVI), and Indoor airPLUS (IAP). Casey began his career in construction as a small business owner and building scientist (BPI Building Analyst, BPI Envelope Professional, and HERS Rater). He served for four years on BPI's Standards and Technical Committees and was also a Board Member of Efficiency First. Casey has an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland University College and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. When he's not on the sidelines watching his sons' soccer games or walking his dogs, you can find Casey working on indoor and outdoor home improvement projects.

Claudia Huskamp

Corey Bressler

Corey comes to Pearl with a wide variety of experience in the energy industry. Prior to Pearl, Corey worked for CLEAResult facilitating a large utility-based industrial demand response program. He also has over half a decade of experience as a BPI certified energy auditor.

Cushing Whitney

As a Senior Software Engineer, Cushing brings decades of experience in building and managing large-scale technology solutions to the task of ensuring that Pearl's Certification App and back-end systems operate at their best and add value to the business. Before joining Pearl, Cushing served as Vice President of Product at Lancium Compute, a unit of a Houston-based startup focused on decarbonizing the electrical grid. Cushing oversaw the development and operation of a carbon-free cloud computing platform specializing in the needs of the high-performance scientific computing community. Preceding that, Cushing spent 18 years as President of Bitlathe, a boutique consulting firm that built digital solutions for sales and marketing teams in the financial services industry. Cushing graduated with a B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University and M.A. and M.Phil. degrees from Columbia University. He lives with his family in central Virginia and can often be found enjoying the region's incredible opportunities for camping, kayaking, and wine tasting. "I've spent my career developing products that support the needs and goals of businesses. David brings a decade of design experience to the Pearl team. Previously, David worked as a UI product designer for a hearing solutions company called Eargo. Prior to that, David ran a successful freelance design business for seven years, specializing in digital product design, marketing, and branding. David is originally from southern California but has lived in Austin, Texas since 2017. When he is not designing for Pearl, you might find him hanging out with his wife and two sons, drawing, writing, or eating Tex-Mex and enjoying a craft beer. "The digital experience is the primary point of contact for Pearl users to invest in their homes and the global community we are bettering. I'm proud of being able to use design to empower homeowners to reduce their emissions and conserve and create clean energy."

Deanna Cioppa

With a focus on operations for nearly his entire career, Edson has worked in many different industries - advertising, car rentals to health care. Edson is originally from Brooklyn, NY but now lives in Florida with his wife and daughter. His interests include his family, watching combat sports (MMA, bare knuckle boxing, and whatever is available to watch in this category), video games, comic books/graphic novels, movies, and TV shows. Heather Elias

As an executive for the National Association of Realtors, she crafted and executed social and digital strategy, federating messaging across all channels. Joey lives in Los Angeles, California and enjoys watching old movies, cooking, traveling, and hiking. John Costello

Jordan began his career in community banking and received his MBA from William Woods University. Jordan lives in central Missouri with his wife, enjoys games with family, and, as a third-generation woodworker, loves spending time in the shop. Justin Beck

Justin is a Senior Software Engineer tasked with bringing Pearl Certification's Green Door application to mobile. Previously, Justin was the Chief Operating Officer at SyncGrades, an ed-tech company based in Pennsylvania that builds classroom management software for New York City schools. At SyncGrades, he was responsible for the daily operations of the company, along with development of mobile applications and web tools. Prior to working at SyncGrades, Justin was the Director of Software Engineering at Scitent, an e-learning company based in Charlottesville, VA, that provides learning solutions primarily to medical boards. At Scitent, Justin rebuilt the engineering team, brought engineering rigor to the company, reduced and streamlined the maintenance burden, and led the development of several new systems. Justin has a wealth of knowledge and experience writing software and managing engineering teams. Justin is British but has lived in the United States, off and on, for 39 years. He is married with two daughters, a cat named Greg, and a dog named Violet. Justin spends his time, among many other things, hiking and mountain biking. "More than ever before, we need to turn our attention to sustainability, efficiency, and support of our planet and ecosystem, and joining Pearl is one of the ways in which I can contribute to this effort. Building mobile capabilities for Pearl that make home systems management more accessible and easier to use will promote understanding of these needs; I am happy to be a part of this important effort."

Kat Cahill

She brings over 14 years of experience in both public and private sectors and has led the largest enterprise-wide rebranding campaign in the last 50 years for a $6B state agency. Her speciality is in digital marketing and lead generation with a focus on data-based campaign optimization. Prior to her state service, she was a special education teacher for 10 years. Kat graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County with a bachelor's in Education and is currently pursuing a master's in the Psychology of Leadership at Penn State. She holds various professional certifications from Syracuse University and Georgetown University in advanced digital marketing strategies and facilitation. In addition to enjoying the outdoors, Kat loves to read and to welcome new neighbors with fresh apple pies and outdoor movie nights. Kate Romanov

Kate had her first taste of home performance when her undergraduate team at Middlebury College participated in the U.S. Department of Energy's Solar Decathlon competition in 2011. She went on to work in solar finance with Mosaic in the Bay Area, then pursued her master's degree in education with a focus on health and wellness. For the last handful of years, Kate has been teaching children and leading professional development training for teachers. She worked with her school district to secure grant funding for solar panels on the school roofs -- both to supply electricity and serve as a real-life tool for STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education. She is thrilled to be part of the Customer Success team at Pearl, where she gets to help contractors maximize the value of Pearl certifications. When off work, Kate enjoys exploring outdoors along the North Oregon Coast with her pup, Crouton. "Pearl Certification is going to forever change the way we talk about our homes. As a homeowner, Kelly is invested in the Pearl Certification process because it adds significant value to a home. She has a keen interest in making green-conscious decisions and supporting Pearl's quest of educating homeowners and providing access to achieving their energy-savings goals. Outside of work, Kelly is passionate about travel, cooking, working on her home with her fiancé, and spoiling their three dogs.

Kerri Roy

A lifelong Mainer, Kerri lives with her two daughters and two dogs and enjoys the beauty of the state and all that it has to offer. With a master's and bachelor's of Architecture from the College of Design and a Certificate in Data Analytics and Visualization from the College of Continuing Education and Professional Studies at the University of Minnesota, Kerry has over 20 years of experience researching and promoting energy-efficiency, sustainability, and the health/well-being of occupants in the built environment. She is also a LEED AP BD+C, a WELL AP, Fitwel Ambassador, and a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS). Outside of work, Kerry enjoys spending time with her family, enjoying the outdoors, participating in various sporting activities, and working on her many crochet projects. She is also passionate about giving back to the local community. She is a Water Quality Monitor for the lake by her home and is a weekly Meals on Wheels driver. Previously, Lindsay was the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Building Performance Association, an energy-efficiency nonprofit focused on advocacy and education in the weatherization and home performance industry. Prior to her work at BPA, Lindsay was an independent consultant and built a wide variety of clientele ranging everywhere, and in between, builders, banks and bars. Lindsay graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University with a master's degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications, complemented by an undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management. In addition to her love of travel, food, and friends, Lindsay is a mom, a step-mom, and a fur-baby mom. She is passionate about helping other mothers find "their village" and is a co-founder and admin of the largest moms group in western Pennsylvania. He prospered as Senior Sales Leader at Wyndham Resorts, before transitioning to selling solar projects at Vivant Solar. He is also a former builder/remodeler and worked on USGBC's LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Technical Development team to advance the requirements for materials and resources across all the LEED rating systems. He lives in Harrisonburg, VA with his wife, Jen, and he has two kids living and studying dance internationally. In his free time he enjoys playing guitar and exploring and biking throughout the Shenandoah Valley. "I grew up in construction and was a builder for a few years.
