David E. Levine

DAVID E. LEVINE is one of the founding members of the Firm. He concentrates his practice in every aspect of residential and commercial real estate transactions. He also has extensive experience in commercial and landlord-tenant litigation, commercial leasing, matrimonial law, estate planning, and corporate law. He practices in all courts throughout New York City and the State of New York. Mr. Levine received his law degree from New York Law School in 1990 and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1987. Mr. Levine is also a graduate of The Bronx High School of Science. He is admitted to practice law in New York and Connecticut.

Jeffrey H. Klarsfeld

Jeffrey H. Klarsfeld is one of the founding members of the Firm. He has a broad range of litigation experience in matters relating to real estate, including commercial and residential landlord tenant law, cooperative and condominium disputes, real estate contracts, property disputes, foreclosures and mechanic's liens. Mr. Klarsfeld also specializes in all facets of civil litigation, including commercial matters, matrimonial disputes, construction litigation and the collections of debts. Mr. Klarsfeld has tried numerous cases to verdict and has filed and argued dozens of appeals in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. Mr. Klarsfeld received his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law in 1991, and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Clark University in 1988. He is admitted to practice before the state courts of New York, the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

MR. PLATTE is one of the founding members of the Firm. He is an experienced real estate and corporate attorney who provides strategic guidance to established and startup companies and a wide array of legal services involving organizing and structuring entities, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, employment agreements, partnership and shareholder agreements and general corporate counseling. His practice is broad based, with a particular specialization representing small businesses and landlords and tenants in lease transactions. Mr. Platte's has substantial expertise in all areas of real estate law including sales and acquisitions, leasing, commercial and residential landlord-tenant, institutional and private lending, real estate development, and real estate litigation. His experience includes the negotiation, preparation, review and revision of documents, instruments and agreements in connection with the acquisition, sale, development, leasing and financing of commercial, industrial, hotel, casino and residential real estate, and negotiation and completion of numerous and complex shopping center leases, restaurant leases, retail store leases, office leases and residential leases for both tenants and landlords in the New York Metropolitan Area and across the country. A trusted advisor to small businesses, Mr. Platte serves as outside general counsel and provides ongoing day-to-day representation to private enterprises of all sizes and across various industries, including prominent national retail chains, real estate brokerage and development companies, construction companies, advertising and media agencies, restaurants, and family-owned businesses. For the past 20 years, he has also served as outside counsel to an approved Small Business Administration lender and one of the premier providers of business services and financial products to small and medium-sized businesses throughout the United States. Mr. Platte received his Juris Doctor from the Boston University School of Law and his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Binghamton University School of Management.
