PLAY THERAPY - Key Persons

Mary Ruth Cross is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Counselor Educator with over 20 years experience in the mental health field. Mary Ruth has provided counselor's education with the University of Phoenix Bay Area Campus. She has also been on faculty with John F. Kennedy University and been a nationally recognized speaker on play therapy. She works in private practice in San Ramon CA and is the Clinical Director for Treehouse Family Counseling Services, PC where she trains and supervises interns and trainees. Mary Ruth is a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor as well as past president for the California Association for Play Therapy and a member in good standing with the Association of Play Therapy, California Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the American Counseling Association.
