Carol Montgomery

Carol Montgomery - Head of Hansel 3e (Employment, Education and Enterprise) - Senior Strategic Planning Manager with strong leadership skills. High level of experience in the development and delivery of Social Enterprises/ Supported Businesses, Educational Programmes and Employability Programmes. Carol came onto the board of SFS in Summer 2017. I have had significant experience of Developing and Management of Key Strategic Partnerships, operation delivery and business development within the Welfare to Work and Scottish Government employability programmes. Maintaining relationships with commissionaires and prime contractors. Procurement, Development and Delivery of Employability Programmes across Scotland for people who have health conditions or disabilities. I have also worked in the Third sector, Local Authorities and Private Sector. On the Board of Director for SUSE and an active member of BASE.

Georgie Price

Bio Georgie joined SENScot in September 2021 as Project Support Officer. She has previously worked in an administration and communications role for a Social Enterprise in Devon and recently graduated from the University of Glasgow with a MSc in Human Rights and Politics. The main focus of her role is to ensure effective delivery of SENScot's core work and special projects through administrative, systems and communications support.

Liz Gardiner

Liz Gardiner is a cultural planner. She has worked as a social entrepreneur in the cultural sector for over three decades as Artistic Director and Chief Executive of Fablevision, she has supported the emergence of many new social enterprises as well as local, national and international and networks. Now a Doctoral Researcher with the University of the West of Scotland she continues to work with groups and communities on the ground.

Pauline Gordon

Pauline was CEO of Social Firms Scotland for 12 years, although her work in the social economy spans over 20 years. Following the merger with Senscot, she has been appointed as Director of Social Enterprise Network Scotland. Pauline was involved in co-producing with Scottish Govt, Scotland's 10 year SE Strategy and has been involved in the Public Procurement Suppliers' Group since 2008. She is also a member of the Supported Business Advisory Group and contributed to the working group on ‘Closing the Disability Employment Gap' Action Plan. Pauline is also a founding director of Ready for Business LLP which led on the delivery of the Scottish Govt's Developing Markets for Third Sector Providers' programme, where she led on the development of Public Social Partnerships. She has many years' experience working at a transnational level and has a long standing connection with an EU Social Economy Network. She is a graduate of Glasgow Caledonian University and is passionate about social enterprise & equalities; Partick Thistle, and most of all her family including her 4 grandchildren.
