The Aldwych Theatre was acquired by the Nederlander Organization in 1982 after 21 years of ownership by the Royal Shakespeare Company... The Nederlander Organization purchased the Adelphi Theatre in 1984, becoming co-owners with Andrew Lloyd Webber in 1993, shortly before the opening of his Tony award winning musical, Sunset Boulevard... Built in 1929, the Dominion Theatre was acquired by the Nederlander Organization in 1992 before starting to operate independently as Nederlander Dominion Limited in 2009.
