Bob Gass

Bob Gass began his development career at Centex homes, acquiring and developing over 4000 single-family lots. At Centex, Bob managed a staff of 30+ engineers, land planners and land development field superintendents. After Centex, Bob joined Trammel Crow Residential Company, eventually becoming Managing Partner-DFW and building 3400 apartments with a staff of 20+ finance, construction, and leasing professionals. At Trammell Crow, Bob initiated a land investment business that acquired, entitled and marketed several mixed-use land tracts in DFW. After Trammell Crow, Bob began a single-family research and consulting company in DFW. By the mid-1990's the company had over 90 homebuilders, land developers, lenders and investors who purchased the company's supply and demand data and attended quarterly seminars on market trends and opportunities. The company also acted as a consultant to builders, underwriting and developing long-term acquisition strategies. Most recently, Bob began to partner with landowners who wanted to entitle their property prior to disposition in order to optimize profit and shorten the marketing process. In 2006, Bob began working with the GLO to outsource its entitlement, marketing and disposition of the raw land investments that had been acquired on behalf of the Permanent School Fund. Bob earned his BA and MA degrees in Business from Trinity University in San Antonio. He also completed the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program, an intensive three-month course at the Executive Education Center on the HBS campus in Boston.

Debra Stratton

As the Controller of Momark Development, Debra Stratton oversees all company accounting practices including financial reporting, management and forecasting, and ensures smooth business and construction operations.

Megan Shannon

As a Project Principal with Momark Development, Megan Shannon is experienced in all facets of community and land development in Austin and Central Texas. Megan has been the development manager of the $100MM+ redevelopment of the RBJ Center into the Hatchery, a mixed-income and mixed-age community in Central East Austin, including responsibility for the entire project lifecycle of The Weaver residences.

Steven Spears

Terry E. Mitchell - President

Terry E. Mitchell is President of Momark Development L.L.C. based in Austin, TX. Terry is heavily involved in the planning and development of various residential and mixed-use real estate developments involving approximately 6,500 residential units and related mixed-uses. Projects include The Austonian (development consultant and marketing manager), the Denizen, Plum Creek, Chestnut Commons, Edgewick, Gabardine, Macmora Cottages and The Sanctuary Lofts. Mr. Mitchell's focus is largely set upon urban residential or mixed-use projects that create unique communities offering extraordinary lifestyles. From The Austonian to Chestnut Commons to The Denizen, each community has a unique and special personality. Prior to his arrival at Momark, Mr. Mitchell served in a number of management positions including as Vice President of Milburn Homes (D.R. Horton, Inc. division). In his 20-plus years in real estate, Mr. Mitchell has developed over 20,000 residential units and over $1.8 billion in residential community value. Mr. Mitchell received his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Texas in Austin. He also received his Masters of Business Administration from Saint Edward's University and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Saint Mary's University in San Antonio. Terry practiced law in Texas and California. Mr. Mitchell is a past President of the Real Estate Council of Austin, and previously served on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for 13 years. He also has served on the Board of Hill Country Conservancy, the Austin District Council for the Congress for New Urbanism and the Austin Chamber of Commerce. the District Council for ULI. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of HousingWorks Austin, is Co-Chair of the ULI Housing & Community Development Council and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Capital Metro.
