Neil B. Garfinkel - VP

Neil B. Garfinkel has been a shareholder in MSI Management Services, Inc. since 1996. He serves as General Counsel and oversees the legal affairs of the company.Neil is a graduate of Cornell Law School, where he specialized in the study of Business Law and Regulation and served as an Editor of the Cornell International Law Journal. Mr. Garfinkel received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Albany, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Garfinkel is the managing partner of Abrams Garfinkel Margolis Bergson, LLP, a full service law firm which has offices in New York and California. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Friars Club, the Cornell Club of New York and Fresh Meadow Country Club. Additionally, he holds a first degree black belt with the International Shotokan Karate Federation. He has appeared on various television shows, including the CBS Local News, CNBC, Bloomberg News and New York 1 News. He has appeared on nationally syndicated radio and has been quoted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Newsday, Reuters, AP, Dow Jones, Forbes.com, Bankrate.com, CNN.com, as well as numerous other publications.

Teri Martin

Teri Martin began her business management career with MSI in March of 1978. Her work ethic and ambition led her to become the assistant to Joel Goldstein, her mentor and the founder of the company. Recognized for her ability to work with clients and create strong relationships, she became the senior account manager for the New York office. Her background in accounting and team leadership skills have allowed the New York office to grow while serving the needs of MSI's clientele.

William L. Abrams - President, Shareholder

William L. Abrams received his law degree from Boston University. He earned a Masters of Law degree in Taxation from New York University and a Masters of Law degree in Corporate Law, also from New York University. Mr. Abrams graduated Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Albany, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He is admitted to the bars of the States of New York and California, and is also a Certified Public Accountant in the States of New York and California. Mr. Abrams is a shareholder and President of MSI. He works out of both MSI's Los Angeles and New York offices and is in charge of all of MSI's tax matters. Mr. Abrams represents the local, national and international interests of the firm's entertainment and corporate clients in film, music, television, and multi-media projects. He represents individuals and entities in numerous aspects of feature film finance and production, television and video production, film and video distribution, and music production and distribution. Such creative clients include actors, writers, musicians, models, producers and professional athletes. Mr. Abrams is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York Bar Association, the California Bar Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has published articles in The Journal of Accountancy and The New York Independent Film Monitor. He has appeared on national and local news programs commenting on a broad range of entertainment, tax and legal issues. Mr. Abrams has been quoted in publications such as Forbes, The Los Angeles Times, and the Chicago Tribune. Mr. Abrams is a member of the Board of Directors of several charities and not-for-profit organizations. In addition, he has been a lecturer at the University of California at Los Angeles.
