After years of working in the financial industry, I realized it wasn't a good fit and that I wanted to be in a profession where I could engage with people while improving their everyday lives. I received my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Samuel Merritt University in Northern California. For the past 14 years, I have practiced physical therapy in a variety of settings: acute care, home health, concierge, and orthopedic outpatient. With a special interest in athletics, my mission is to help patients navigate through injury and guide them back to their sport. What I enjoy most about my job is educating patients and empowering them to take ownership of their health and fitness. Being a physical therapist is like being a coach, and coaching my patients to reach their goals brings a type of satisfaction that is hard to find in any other career. Originally from Philadelphia (Go Eagles!) and after spending 15 years living and working in San Francisco, my family and I relocated to Portland in 2019. We love the 4 seasons and appreciate the pace of life. Staying active and exercising is a non-negotiable for me. I also love traveling and outdoor activities such as fishing and camping.
